Organizers and participants advocate for a variety of causes, including immigrant rights, government accountability and opposition to Project 2025."


Basically every state and city subreddit has posts about it. I've seen posters IRL about the protest. They have a subreddit called r/50501 where its discussed, and supposedly it's all being organized on Discord 🤮

Some claim that it seems like a coordinated glowing psyop to bait redditors into committing crimes/acts of violence. People have posted their protest signs on reddit and I know personally two people who plan to attend my state capitol's protest, so I'm sure that its at least not a complete nothingburger:

These people are insane, violent, and angry. I foresee tomorrows protests being very lulzy regardless of what happens. Hopefully there will be some good livestreams.
 
Shame I have to work tomorrow. I'd love to be there to document some of this shit. Catching a Reddit fedposter in the act would be hilarious.
 
Maybe I'm just being obtuse but their protest signs and slogans are just so lame. Have protest been as gay and lame as these?

I don't mean to sound like the "nothing ever happens" wojak, but... absolutely nothing will come of this. Maybe a dozen spergs standing outside of the Capitol with signs, tops.

I have a feeling this idea is far too stretched thin... ain't no way you're gonna have anything meaningful in even 10% of the states. But hey, in the off chance anything does happen here in Texas... I've got a big truck and this joke is only 5% of the level of insulation-posting that's been happening on Reddit all week!

One of the biggest differentiating factors between you and them.
 
With the Proud Boys out of commission, The 3% per centers split, and the Oath Keepers not really organized... I doubt we're going to see all those cool street fights from Trump's first administration but we can hope. There isn't really a good right-wing presence on the ground to counter to shit. I do think if they get out of control, however, Trump will immediately nationalize the guard.
