I really don't think 4chan is that bad when it comes to our /pol/ siblings. The level of shitposting vs good discussion seems comparable to KF. I might even go as far as to say they have less of a hostile culture than you. The theme for all the boards is the proportion of replies less than two sentences has grew while effortposts lessened. I joined KF because I wanted a persistant identifier for day-to-day interactions. While 4chan is "anonymous", it's ironic that Tor is basically banned. They're not true pro-anonymity.
/pol/ has slowed to having threads for around around for almost a day or more. OSINT went from 10 minutes to taking three hours for one picture's origin. They still have /chug/ vs /uhg/ generals. I want to think the jannies pushed it extremist flavored to make right wingers and audience look deranged and disband us. They're still my go-to for hot raw info like below.

Honestly, from what I see, they are really happy to have their own containment board and autism so powerful that they are insulated from the shit flooding the rest.
