It's basically never been a secret. 4chan memes have been spread around the internet since the 2000s. Rage comics originated there IIRC and that's one of the classic examples of the redditor tendency to run memes that originated elsewhere into the ground. I'm not sure if it's still the case though as I don't use too many social media sites nowadays.

Why should anyone respect 4chan culture? Because it was the birthplace of a lot of shit? These people defend loli and seethe every time you call them a pedo. None of these fags are worth respecting, let alone their culture.

The site is indiscernable from Twitter now anyway, since most new threads on the site are now Southern Asians posting Twitter screenshots from their engagement farm handle.

No, it's really bad. Like fuckers on 4chan are always so shocked that someone saved down and image and reposted it, or is taking screenshots of a thread for their engagement bait accounts. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have less tourists from Twitter come over and shit the place up but there's no magical barrier stopping someone from typing in "4chan" and scraping what they find.

I think this is the real legacy of 4chan. A culture develops distinction from others via isolation, and with the proliferation of normies on the internet via smartphones, it was only to be a matter of time before various distinct web cultures such as 4chan, Reddit, Tumblr, etc. would breach containment and make their way into the mainstream. All of their elements ending up in a heterogeneous mix across major platforms.

Tumblr's gender sorcery has manifest into real world legal issues. You see Tumblr cartoonist aesthetics/tropes in a ton of new shows. Reddit is now run by the Tumblr trannies who can't draw and now mainly exists for tranny validation circlejerking and discussing news in a "heckin' wholesome way". Twitter, as you said, is basically just an open-world rpg version of 4chan now. Everywhere you go, everyone is calling everyone cuck or soy. Pepe became a "hate sybol". Sharty is entirely derivative, even in its resentment of 4chan. Its basically 4chan's rebellious teenage child who insists he isn't like his dad. On top of that, there's been mass shooters whose manifestos were plastered with memes from both sites. PUA/incel terms like "mog", "foid", "[x]-pilled", "[x]-cel" are now household terms. My boomer parents who watch cable news and don't even have social media asked me about Nick Fuentes. Old friends of mine who were complete normies a few years ago are now Jew-noticers and send me related content on Instagram.

It's cast a very long shadow.

I've said this before in another thread but you have to notice that the people of gender and their allies only thrive under tight moderation. Reddit was always gay and dorky but what strikes me now about it is just how sterile it is. The only things that actually float to the top are either the safest non-answer comments or just validation.

They're not quite the same as tumblrfags, but /leftypol/ used to be a general on /pol/ before they retreated to a splinter chan that they had control over. Now they only visit 4chan to astroturf. Well, they're pretty similar to tumblr but they're not so emotional as to break character at the mention of the nigger word or YWNBAW. Despite their self-presentation as more edgy and economically focused leftists, you only need to read a couple threads on bunkerchan to realize they move in lockstep with the rest of the progressive identity politics crowd. KF is the only place I see leftists who aren't fully on board with the troon train.

Considering Tyler Robinson now has reasonable doubt thanks to Joe Kent being a Candacefag (ie a conspiracytard obsessed with Israel) I’m not sure about that. Or at least not sure it is a win.

There are multiple fronts to any culture war and with so many retards running amok. anything could happen. Overall, Democrats just aren't offering much to the average voter, on top of that they've dropped the ball on so many things just through sheer complacency its difficult for them to get anyone actually motivated to go and vote for them. Also they're clinging to their sacred trannies despite the growing troon fatigue which I don't think will go well for them. Meanwhile, MAGA and AF actually capitalized on internet mobilization.
