Well if it's so confusing, I honestly thought that's how it was spelled. A lot of things are written as number "-" x. I thought it had a dash and everyone was too lazy to type it out. 4chan was popular a bit before my time on the internet, I don't really know much about it.
 
4chan is all my annoying brother ever talks about so maybe if it dies he'll like, get a job or something.
 
If 4chan died, wouldn't the logical assumption be that they migrate to the next biggest chan instead of here?
 
Kinda sad to see 4chan go down the tube. I mean the internet just wouldn't be the same without it. At least 8chan is still here, in the meantime:

 
Things will be all right.
4chan will reach drinking age and will we all remember to laugh in seven years as we trade in our GBP for tendies.

True that. And I don't even touch the more notorious boards (/v/, /b/ and /pol/). /a/ and /co/ are spergy enough as they are without those added to the mix.

But still, a part of me will miss them if they do shut down for good. They were good for a laugh if nothing else.
