Considering all the mainstream media and commoner attention 4chan has been getting because of their involvement in the election, I doubt we would be seeing 4chan reach her 14th birthday even assuming Hiro and friends were 100% competent and had no money issues.

The second Hillary posted about Pepe on her main campaign website, I knew 4chan would never make it to 14.
 
With 4chan falling to pieces I assume people are going to be making their own boards etc. It's just natural for people to make 'backup plans' even if this is sensationalist news.

IIRC, that was done a few times before, even though it would lead to some chan offshoots dying off.
