Well I dunno what they were thinking with Evil Marian there, unless it was "wow we accidentally made Normal Marian too underpowered, let's make the Evil version way better to compensate".

Marian is like the best character in the game her side special clears half the screen with no setup required, she has abobo damage with range but shes squishy to compensate.

That is the joke I was attempting to make. Marian's bazooka is braindead but at least it stops when it hits something, Evil Marian's fireball keeps drilling through everything for free fullscreen 5x crowd controls until it leaves the playfield. I only took a five minute test drive but she seems super silly.
Developed by Bitmap Bureau (Final Vendetta, Xeno Crisis) so this is now my most anticipated beat em up, sorry Toxie you're bumped to second place

It's cool but I just don't get excited for these "new" NEO•GEO games.
I buy them, but I'm a sucker for the genre.
Possibly the only kind of video game worth playing if I'm honest; certainly the only one where I bother keeping up with new releases.
If that's the actual soundtrack I'm interested.
