I remember stumbling upon Chris in 2009 during the Liquid Chris Saga and being very confused.
It took a few days to sort out that this Christian guy really was a crazy manchild and that there were people actively trolling him. That someone would dress like that, have all this toy shit and keep coming back for more even after he had been humiliated time-after-time. Even now there's craziness here and there. But Classic Chris is still the best.
Chris may make superficial conversation with people, play Pokemon from time to time, and get out often, but I doubt he has what you would truly call an active social life. (friends, family, get together, hot lesbians beckoning with eye contact). Chris just kind of socializes at people instead of with them, the internet seems to be the only place that won't say, "Well, I've gotta go over here, where I won't hear or see you acting like a weirdo" I doubt Chris was ever be or will ever be invited to a baby shower.
I don't know how anyone could have doubted, you can't fake that autistic stare.

You're reading too deeply into the situation, I think. You inflate the seriousness with which people think about casual social contact, and underestimate Chris' ability to perform adequately in those situations.
Well that's simply not true. Chris has to think about deep things all the time. His life is a depressing sack of shit. And he's definitely talked to people about those things over the years.
I know that Marvin is the expert, but Chris has never openly talked about the depth of his "female soul" (in depth); there will probably be a video after we talk about it so much, but after seeing the letters from @LoveYouLongTime , Chris seems superficial about everything. I don't argue that he he can't feel complicated emotions, but like his favorite phrases "female soul, inverse, among which", they just seem parroted.
Chris is nowhere near an Aspie is on mental cognizance. All Chris knows are somethings about Chris, he does not understand himself or his feelings in relation to others, period. Well, scratch that, he understands that there are somethings you should not do, like touching others without their permission, and that's only after he had to be told several times. It's not that much stretch to think that he may be able to feel some deep feelings, but a lot of what he says, like his Sonic recolor, is borrowed from the experiences of others.
