Some of these files seem like they come from fake victims/witnesses. Crime cases with lots of publicity always attract crazy people and scammers. The police still need to interview them all and I think we are seeing the records here, mixed with real stuff. Notice the seemingly sarcastic tone in the emails "Didn't realize Bush raped him too. Ok." People all over social media are treating all these files like they are 100% legit lol.

Wasn't there another board where people talked politics before /pol/? News or something? I'm pretty sure 4chan already had libertarian Ron Paul spamming before /pol/ was created to contain it but I could be wrong. And IIRC early /pol/ wasn't nazi or antisemitic so it doesn't fit.

Edit: Reddit was also libertarian site (as expected from young male geek userbase) pre-2016 which has been completely memoryholed. Tumblr SJWs hated reddit's libertarian dudebro anti-feminist culture. Current leftist reddit is completely artificial creation, after r/The_Donald played a part in getting Trump elected they went nuclear and took total control of the site and banned every right-winger. Pre 2016 internet was radically different from today. They probably ruined /pol/ too but idk if they actually own it or just spam it with trash.
