I’m sure you could find more recent examples of people casually throwing around that innuendo. But they should be corrected immediately rather than over half a year later.
Cuba has some of the best HUMINT in the world. They ran the DIA officer basically in charge of Latin America, an INR officer, and a US ambassador posted to Cuba, other Latin American countries, and the NSC. This went on for decades; they were recruited around 1980 and Rocha was apparently still active as late as 2017. And on the island, every recruited agent was a double. It's hard not to have respect for what Cuban intelligence accomplished, even if it was in service of a terrible regime.

Because of shit like a crazy guy claiming he drove Trump in a limo and said he raped a girl, while in the same paragraph claiming hillary clinton is responsible for the okc bombing 1 week before the 2020 election. The files include both substantiated and unsubstantiated rumors. Im sure you can agree the statement above is from a crazy guy, but an investigation like this records any tips they receive and files them, and people will run with narratives even if said narratives are unsubstantiated and from obviously deranged people.
