Yeah, this is not something where the Democrats started this as some gotcha. Instead, Trump, Vance, and his base mostly fed into it.
Trump was also president when Epstein was arrested and killed him self, so every time they blame the Democrats, it looks weak and pathetic even to his base.

Then you have all the stupid shit they have done with this case, like the binders, the Rick Roll, and now the stupid excuses and obfuscations.

"Every one who is interested in this want CHILD PORN," and anyone who is not a mouth breathing retard left or right knows that. NO, we want you to use the fucking law enforcement apparatus that already exists to investigate this and get the names.
A lot of circumstantial evidence likely exists, but it is likely not enough to prosecute any of them. I still want the names of thes rich pedo fucks so they can live in fear.

Additionally, I believe the main issue is that many of these names are from diverse backgrounds, encompassing elites from various industries, politics, and sectors. You know that if it were only Republicans or only Democrats, it would be out there.

I don't think Trump personally is in the Epstein Files, because if he was the Dems would have released them long ago, but I suspect some of his associates are. Otherwise, I don't see why he wouldn't have released them

That gives me a hunch that both parties think releasing it would result in their Mutually Assured Destruction, and thus they've made some backroom deal to never cross that line.

But now that they've said "move along, people, nothing to see here", they've triggered the Streisand Effect.

IIRC Amy Robach mentioned Alan Dershowitz, a Trump associate, when she was caught on a hot mic complaining that ABC wouldn't let them talk about what Project Veritas found.

But I do agree that if the files had dirt on Trump, we'd have known by now. That's the kind of dirt you don't just sit on if you want your opponent gone, especially when vindictive cocksuckers like Garland are in charge.

I just assume it's what we all thought. There are implicated people powerful enough (*cough* Andrew, etc *cough*) that releasing the information would legally bounce off them like nothing happened, but it would kick an international hornets' nest so hard that the diplomatic consequences would be majorly disproportionate to the justice served. Is Trump smart enough that this is his play? Dunno, maybe he's just pissed he's implicated too. But at the same time, we all know someone like Andrew is a demon in a human skin suit. But it's one thing for everyone to know it, it's another for a foreign ally to formally accuse the king's brother of the worst crime imaginable. I mean, *I* think he and people like him should go straight to the chair, but the halls of politics aren't as willing to upset that apple cart as I am.

In regards to the Epstein list, I've been seeing a deluge of MAGA retards on Twitter all parroting the same four talking points about the list.
  1. Releasing the list is a Democrat ploy somehow?
  2. The few Republicans who set up that bill to force the release of the list? Apparently that bill contained some kind of "backdoor" to put Democrats in power again? Makes no sense to me.
  3. Democrats want to release the list because according to these twitter retards, that means evidence (child porn) will also be released, and apparently the Democrats are pedophiles and that's why they want the list released
  4. The list shouldn't be released because we must protect the victims
