I seem to remember Clinton’s polling numbers did initially dip after the Lewinsky affair but after a year of having the hell beaten out of him by family-values types, he gained sympathy and his poll numbers went back up again. The basic sentiment was “alright he learned his lesson already”

Americans are amazingly gracious and forgiving people. Even to groups who wrong us every day. In fact you could say Americans are good-natured to a fault, by letting so many grievances slide.

Clinton sounds and looks senile and (should) be considered last decade's man, but at 79 he'd barely break into the top ten oldest Senators. Yet as of now, he's does no more than go on some occasional morning show. Leaving Clinton, Gates unredacted really looks like an expensive and blundered 'look over there' exercise. A fair few of the images exist unredacted online. Trump really does employ some incompetent people surnamed Patel who thinks this does anything but a disservice to his boss in the Oval Office. It treats people like idiots.

Those... aren't the same images at all? And if anything that seems more a lie by implying something (the children being victims) rather than a "normal" lie.

Doesn't make it ok to try and mislead people, but there's enough shit with the epstein files that you don't need to make up shit to make the trump admin look bad.

My point is that they're acting like child sexual abuse is a just another internet fad of the moment, and those are government officials on their silver checkmark accounts. The reason I brought that up at all, is because I've seen a lot of people claiming those images to be the same and saying that the GOP put that image into the files themselves.

What I personally believe to be the case is that the image in the files was on someones device rather than put in there by the GOP.
 
Right on! So many guilty people are going to go to prison and their many victims will see justice.

That and so many serious political issues involving people in those files are now going to be fixed.

My guess is that Trump was potentially aware and has alot of friends in the files, but didnt necessarily diddle himself. Its the cleanest explanation for why he would've brought up releasing the epstein files during his campaign, why epstein was trying to dig up dirt on him in his email exchanges with Bannon (why the fuck is that guy still being invited to events after that release?), why there were victims that claimed he was clean.

We already knew he was acquaintances with Epstein in the past and had a falling out, we already know that associates of his like Bannon and Dershowitz were involved in some capacity.

The most logical explanation is that he was unaware of how bad it reflects on him personally, or upon close associates he wants to protect.

We may not see justice but we can at least archive who was apart of this before it becomes lost and forgotten.

We can archive what google and other companies hide. We can have info and knowledge for future generations to observe. All we really can do is spread the knowledge we have and present it in a way that will be accessible and interesting enough for future generations to read.

Im sure theyve lied like fuck but it says minors OR victims. Those would be minors. Now i think theyve redacted more, why 550 full redacted pages, its not all kids and victims names. But thats not great evidence dude

I'd guess his reason for turning and calling "Epstein" a "hoax" isn't about sex or about himself. There's something specific that he thinks is bullshit in "the files" and he thinks it's the most important thing. Maybe it's the sameness of Israeli, American, and British intelligence, but we have no fucking idea.
