In any case, I don't wish the man ill. That said, if/when shit goes south for him with regards to this marriage, I ain't gonna have a lot of sympathy.
 
I swear to God if this ends in only a divorce arc I will be seriously disappointed in DSP's shady as fuck desperate creativity. I'm just hoping for a miscarriage pregnancy arc that he can milk for like 5 years.

He'll be telling a sob story about how life never gave him a break: he got valedictorian and everything was trending upward, couldn't get into an Ivy League school while other rich kids could, he lost his job at the chopper factory, he built a "legacy" online, he met Panda, got engaged and quickly went into severe depression after Panda left, he had tax problems but still met the love of his life, his attorney/CPA/"tax guy" screwed him and his problems spiraled, he got depressed again and his only rock was Kat, he married her and eventually failed to have a kid with her, Kat left him and now he's been taken advantage of (always the victim) and owes her money while still being behind on taxes.

If Phil is as chronic and successful a liar as we think he might be, I would not be shocked if this is how it goes down. All I know is we got a wild card and I look forward to how he'll weasel his fat ass out of this one.

Funny thing: Phil's dad was a justice of the peace and empowered to conduct weddings through 2016 (see p. 3). He's not on the current list, though.
