"OMG YASSSSSSSSSSS QUEEEEEEEEEEN SLAY GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURL U DESTROYED RACIST ORANGE DRUMPF!!! U WAS ON FIRE GURL!!!!! #IMWITHER"
I despise them both with a burning passion but when it comes to supporters, I can't stand Clinton voters. And that's coming from someone who's very liberal.

I'm a proud bleeding-heart liberal and I know for FACT that lizard lady ain't gonna do nothing good for people like you, nor me. Shit like the TPP and anything else like it happening behind our backs is proof of this.

God, forgive these voters. They know NOT what they do...

The smugness and elitism that runs rampant amongst her fanbase is going to be the death knell of left-wing politics in the long term. If she wins, it'll be a slow decline of the Democratic party as they deliberately isolate the white working class and more and more minority groups realize the party will only help to promote Big Business and placate the guilt of rich city liberals, and consequently stop voting for it.

Trump won't fix working class issues either (because trickle-down didn't work for Reagan back then and it won't work for Trump now) but him winning is the only scenario that gives Democrats any incentive to get in touch with their pre-Clinton roots.

Its not just the white working class. Many young progressives (Bernie supporters) who would other wise be very on board with a liberal party will now have nothing to do with the Democrats. Even a lot of Clinton supporters are more anti-Trump than pro-Hillary anyway. There are just the vocal idiots and jaded followers who nld along to what they say as long as it doesn't support Trump.

Something I find really annoying is people who hate Trump so much that they desperately try to like Hillary, it's just insanely cringy

Her charisma is about on par with Chris ffs. I can kind of get not liking Trump, but actually thinking Hillary is anything but 100% pure shit on basically every count is just absurd.

In general, the "drumpf orange xDD" people are cringe-inducing. Even before I supported Trump I thought that those autists were autistic. I can understand criticizing his lack of experience, or disagreeing with his policy; I might not agree with you, but I can kind of understand it. Repeating over-used (and not funny to begin with) jokes from Last Week Tonight is just kind of :autism::autism::autism:

Anyways, Trump 2016. Hopefully we win this. If not, hopefully the lizard queen dies in a tragic barbell accident. I'd gladly take 4 years of creepy uncle over her.
The Drumpf thing is weird, I mean it doesn't really need much explanation why his grandfather with a Jewish surname living in Germany during a time Jewish people were discriminated against would feel the need to change it.

If anything they should ask themselves why they are making fun of his Jewish heritage just because it's a funny name, if a Trump supporter had tried something like that they'd be called a racist.

If the Republican Party ever fixes its racism problem, typified by candidates like Trump, it could easily split off a large part of the working class, socially conservative black demographic that Democrats currently take for granted. Any candidate other than Trump could have also counted on a safe cross-section of the Latino vote, thanks to the groundwork put in place by, of all people, Dubya. Which Trump just shit all over and basically wrecked.

It's not a Jewish name, just a German name.

Hillary and her supporters dont understand memes very well (pepe) and their attempts at making them are pathetic. "Trumped up trickle down!"

Today's young progressives are not the young progressives of old. I'm actually enjoying that this election is forcing a divide between the Regressive Left (who are disproportionately wealthy, overprivileged gits) and the Berniecrats who share a lot more in common with the likes of Teddy Roosevelt than they do with Hillary.

Are retail workers generally considered working-class? Because in my experience most of the Berniecrat progressives work retail or are otherwise underemployed. I already lump them in with the general working class since they share the concerns of corporate exploitation and a lack of upward economic mobility.

Oh, you must not get it, allow me to explain. See John Oliver called him Drumpf, but that isn't his name! His name is Trump, not Drumpf! Isn't that just a hoot and a half? How the man is not in the hospital after such a severe burn I don't know.

One of many, actually - if you know where to look on YouTube, of course.
One of two. The other's Ben Carson. Also 10,000 white guys pretending to be black on the internet

If elitism turned off voters than people like Scott Walker and Rick Santorum would never have been elected to begin with.

Touche. Lovely as it would be to see Hillary challenged, I ain't seeing it with Trump being... Trumpy.

I think the cross party violence is overblown. The only time I've seen a Trump sign damaged was when someone drove into one. It was a large banner draped on a semi trailer and the car that crashed into it had to be extracted with a tow truck.

Someone recently smeared peanut butter on people's cars because they assumed they were in that area "for a Trump Rally"
There's like a new video of people losing their fucking shit over the fact Trump is running for president in public every damn week.

Granted it may be a little "overblown" but These things don't seem to be isolated to a singular location or area.
Just sit back and enjoy the show because it's clear that even though Trump has a snowball's chance in hell of winning right now his mere existence seems to be eroding the sanity of people who despise him to the point where they go apeshit over sheer mention of him in a positive light.

This video was from a while ago but it was fairly violent.

I've been to worse. Subtract out the super dramatic music and cuts and it's pretty typical for an aggressive confrontation in an acrimonious campaign.

Trump supporters are suing over this event. Good luck on holding the police liable for it, though.

Trump can't even withstand a joke about his undersized fingers without getting triggerd.

"Drumpf" works as an insult on Trump for the exact same reason "Ian Brandon Anderson" works on Chris.

You found the one black guy voting for trump! That is awesome

I always thought she was the only black to vote Drumpf.

The best chance the GOP has at recapturing their voter base is to shift over to Libertarian policies concerned with freedom of choice and small government politics. They would also need to work their asses off to repair their image with Hispanics (which once upon a time used to vote mostly Republican), Asians (same thing), Women (Yep), and other key demographics that are bit by bit changing the political landscape of the United States.

No one is going to vote for you no matter your policy ideas, if your party gives off the impression that they hate your very existence.

It's possible, but improbable.

As for the Democrats, if they want to maintain any form of control over the next few years they need to:

A) Cater to their constituents that got them the election in the first place.

B) Be very open and advertise their successes well

C) Continue to broaden their base for the midterms, and encourage people to vote

Again, it's possible, but improbable.
