Mainstream journos certainly are. The only thing that's stopping me from lumping all journalists into the same category is that one of my buddies is one of them and is a genuinely learned person. Although he's also a plane autist who only writes articles about plane autism for a niche site aimed at other plane autists so that probably allows him to keep his integrity.

I don't think it matters. As we've seen time and again, if they can't get the content they want, they'll post it themselves. If they can't post it themselves, they'll make it up.

My hard drive would speed up and sound like a small vacuum when I would go on newgrounds. Actually terrifying now that i think about it.

I don't find this to be a huge ask, personally. I'm mostly here for news and off topic stuff. All the lolcows I've been remotely invested in following have gotten boring in the last two years or simply failed to hold my attention for a while after I registered. What has kept me active on this site is being able to express my opinions honestly in ways I am no longer capable of doing anymore on current year social media, and I have developed a greater appreciation for free speech because of it.

Maybe temporarily kill posting privileges for accounts aged 6 months or younger until the heat dies down maybe? Would put the kabosh on new socks hopefully.

I downloaded Tor, changed the desktop icon to a kiwi fruit and renamed the shortcut "Ookoo Squad."
I feel pleased with this.
