Till it does, I think I am going to pay an April Fools prank called "I can't pay my rent."

April Fools lasts the whole month of April right?

My landlord is from a far away place and I am pretty sure I can convince him of this.

I am currently working on a paper where I argue against criminally charging people for conspiracy for commiting crimes
I'd like to hear your argument when you're completely ready to publish, because this has to be so dumb and insane that it could be the funniest thing I'll ever read from another crazy internet lawyer, or so incredibly smart that it opens my eye to a huge problem with punishing people for a very serious criminal act. Either way it turns out, I can't be disappointed unless it's an April Fools' joke.

I still allow for involuntary psychiatric commitment which is not done by the criminal justice system and thus allows the institutionalization of an extremely unstable potentially violent individual but they are not liable for criminal charges unless they actually commited a crime
You do realize that a judge is still required to institutionalize someone if they are determined to be a possible danger to their self or others, without knowing if they'll actually commit any crime. Which is the same reason we do charge people for conspiracy to commit crime, without knowing if they'll actually commit any crime. You realize your argument is that you don't trust crazy people to obey the law over sane people with intent to break the law. April Fools, you got me, it was too obvious.

Goddammit no, I just left the page open, took a nap and forgot I wasn't at the last page when I came back. A post so insane I don't even notice "2016" A-dragon didn't even have to try for that one. There's 3 posts though, I entertained the rules to leave and read dragon's profile now.
