If he had used a good adhesive to adhere the maps to the table surfaces, then used a good varnish or lacquer to seal it with, this might've been kind of a neat and semi-creative idea. Too bad Phil is too crippled with Autism and low intelligence to have executed the project properly. Taping it down with Scotch Tape just makes it seem like he's wrapping a Christmas gift for Slingblade in the most re-tarded way imaginable. Actually...I could totally imagine Phil wrapping a gift for Slingblade in such a way as to totally make the shape of the gift instantly recognizable, thus ruining the surprise completely, including using good ol' Rand McNally as the wrapping paper and copious, wasteful amounts of Scotch Tape.
