Where did that get into your head? I'm addicted to watching every rating and reply I get. I have everything turned on, google alerts and python alarms for every sticker.

I didn't turn off notifications for anything I just manually recheck threads, but why is there a separate number in my tab now?
Is there a separate inbox for private correspondence from government entities? I told them to contact me by snail mail.

I keep my notifications turned on because I am an egomaniac who gains a rush of forbidden pleasure every time I receive confirmation that someone engaged with something I said. Next time you hit "reply" on one of my posts, think about whether or not my behavior is the kind you want to be supporting.

Why do we have stickers? Can't the whole system run without stickers and reply notifications? Just say what you want, and if you're single-minded enough, you'll know when someone has replied to your spicy take. And that's when you know that you've taken laughing at the internet too far.
