Hey @Devi Ever just wondering what pedal you'd say you liked best, back under your old company. I never had a chance to play with that many of them but the Bit and Shoe Gazer both seemed really awesome.

Props on the apology to Dwarfcraft on the facebook page for your new brand, by the way. Hope stuff gets worked out there. Your pedals were pretty top-notch for years and I've got nothing against those guys, so hopefully stuff gets a peaceful resolution there.
the Atomizer sounds great, m8. I'll try and pick one up sometime when I have money.

@Devi Ever

Now that you're all burned out on gamergate, social justice the and transgendered community, are there still any internet communities at all that you consider yourself to be a part of, or care about in any meaningful way?

... She's here, isn't she?

I should say, I mean, like why would anyone want to be a part of the GG, SJW, or trans community?

I wouldn't say I burned out so much as -escaped-

@Devi Ever if your still doing q&a. Who are some of the weirdest people you've made pedals for?

When Kevin Shields bought one of every pedal I made at the time I never spoke with him, but rather only heard from his tour manager who was a total asshole.

I spoke briefly via email with Trent Reznor who didn't say much but was incredibly kind and got me tickets to their Lights in the Sky tour.

John F. of They Might Be Giants paid me $1,500 up front (another 1.5k on completion) to make a video game for them (that's where the $750 came from I gave to FemFreq when I was insane) and as far as I can tell has dropped off the face of the planet a year ago and probably forgot about even hiring me in the first place. :/ Which is a bummer because I don't care about the money and would have just loved to make a game for them. He's been the only notable musician I've worked with who turned out to be flakier than Billy Corgan.

The coolest people I met would have had to have been Justin Medal Johnsen and Robin Fink of NIN. They were following some drama on one of the old gear messaged boards I visited back in the day and I'll never forget them sending me an email saying they were bored at LAX watching the thread and laughing their asses off. It's so funny to think of them lurking and enjoying gear drama.

... and of course how could I forget Nels Cline. That dude has been the most kind and generous of his time with me. We used to email back and forth a lot and I finally got to hang out with him one time when we came to Portland with his Trio. The crazies shit, that night Sean Lennon (John Lennon's son) came on stage with them and played for a bit. Afterwards I got to hang out with the Trio, Nels, Sean, and his girlfriend. They smoked pot and then we went to a strip club next door.

That was a cool night.

I bet. I know a few local musicians who swear by your gear. Any up and comers you've heard who you think are really good?

tell me about the pedal that NIN used/uses pls
did you actually meet Trent Reznor in person

I mean uh I'm not a fangirl shut up
You mentioned that NIN did use one of your pedals, and I know which pedal it was heavily used for (Ghosts I-IV). Have you listened to that album, if so, do you like it y/n

Never met Trent in person. ; - ;

They used a few of my pedals in studio since right before Ghosts and beyond but I'm too lazy to find the photos.

JMJ used the Bit Mangler on his bass during wild parts of the Light tour, and Robin used the Bit : Legend of Fuzz as a rhythm guitar tone.

You can hear the Bit : LOF with Robin's guitar here... first guitar part is the tone.

Nothing really. It's not like who you are was a mystery.

Oh, I realize that. But whoever is digging up dirt on me managed to find addresses that aren't publicly available or connected to me online. :/

I mean, I don't live at any of them anymore, but I'm really curious how they managed to find that information so I can prevent shit like from being available to stalkers like that in the future.
