I'm not familiar with Ralph's Gamergate era, but he was on Gamergate Rushmore.
You probably recognize Sargon of Akkad, Milo Yiannopolous, Internet Aristocrat (Mister Metokur), and Ethan Ralph, but you probably don't realize that there was a Z-list celebrity named Adam who made a tweet near the beginning of Gamergate. NeverKnowsBest mentioned "the five big anti-SJW Youtubers who helped spawn gamergate": Matt Jarbo, Mister Metokur, TJ Kirk (I didn't even realize that was him the first time I saw it, apparently he changed his name to INTO THE FRAY), Thunderf00t, and Sargon of Akkad. Interesting how much the perspective of these two people differs. Also, was TJ Kirk even popular during Gamergate? Why is he supposedly the founder of Gamergate all of a sudden?
The really funny part about this clip is he says four of them, all except Sargon of Akkad, "would eventually crash out in some way due to growing right-wing influence." Sargon has famously never crashed out due to growing right wing influence #kissmyassaltright. The man only founded a political movement, ran for European office, and became known as the Rape Man of the UK because he was upset at right wingers.

An update to this story, Kidd Bandit has decided to do a complete 180 and has blocked Zoe on Bluesky for unexplained reasons, but my best guess as to why this happened is possibly because of the recent Gamergate documentary that NeverKnowsBest released. That's probably the smartest thing he ever could have done. You just know if Zoe had gotten involved she would have ruined everything somehow. Even if she just went into matches against obvious dudes and they were made to take dives, but she was so incompetent they had to do pretty much everything for her.

And it was already over six hours long, so I can forgive it for not padding its length further by going in depth on someone who never really interacted with her except maybe in a few old tweet threads.

Like with Doritogate, Elevatorgate was also a precursor to Gamergate as it split the New Atheism movement into those who wanted Atheism to also be involved with Social Justice causes, and those who didn't.

His ED page categorized him as being a Gamergate related topic, but it never mentioned Gamergate.
