It has a been a month and the abuse of sponsored posts continues to be a problem. Now there is a thread where discussion of how to block the sponsored banner using browser extensions is thriving. People would rather ignore sponsored posts entirely than suffer the abusive ones.
If that isn't a clear sign that the abuse of the system has undermined its purpose than I do not know what is. I stand by the solution I outlined when this started, please consider implementing it.
A possible, and more fair, solution would be to limit how many active sponsored posts can link to the same thread. I don't have the data to determine what that limit should be, one active sponsored post per thread might be too restrictive, but I'm sure Null has that data and his pal Claude can probably digest it into a workable number. My guess is that would probably result in a limit of two or maybe three active sponsored posts per thread.
Some downloaded videos may be embedded with a thumbnail within it. I would like for the embedded thumbnail to be shown.

I make this post as Stephen Larson attaches interesting thumbnails into his videos. Another suggestion related to this is to the ability to view the video's metadata, bitrate, and resolution.
With the amount of Roblox-related Lolcows and community watch threads there is relating to a certain common theme, this gave me an idea on additional organization.
I suggest Portals, similar to how Wikipedia have one.

A creative writing section might be something to consider in future with the amount of traffic similar webforums that allow such content ala RoyalRoad, SpaceBattles, SufficientVelocity, AlternateHistory and Questionable Questing. The Fanfiction thread has consistently been one of the most high-quality threads on staying on topic in my personal opinion. Sufficient Velocity doesn't publish their own numbers however a 2023 study on internet traffic noted that it attracts 4.9 million visits from Puerto Rico annually alone.
RoyalRoad attracts on average 52 million visits.
AlternateHistory averages 2.2 million
Questionable Questing doesn't publish results either yet these websites have a lot of overlap in users for different genres of fiction so I think it's reasonable to estimate similar numbers here.

I would love that, actually. I just fucked up a banner, because the text overlay obscured the punchline. That annoyed me a little. I guess its no biggie

I don't know if my idea is a good idea but here goes. SneedChat should have the option (through a drop down menu or whatever) to let us easily view user profiles of those chatting.
1. Can these two buttons be switched around so the "Older" is on the left and "Newer" on the right? It doesn't make sense like this.
2. Can a toggle be added to start at the beginning of the thread when you click on the View Media button? Or at least a page count? As it stands, if you want to start chronologically, you have to keep pressing "Older" until you reach the beginning. It's tedious on larger threads.
Here's how I'd make Kiwifarms better:
I buy the whole domain out for the pennies that it's worth. Boot the current management. And I refocus the site toward the cause of rehabilitating the public image of victims of reactionary online harassment campaigns, and giving those victims a space to tell their side of the story.
Could we get a button to refresh the sponsored post manually?
I have no problem cycling them via refresh on the clearnet ver of the site but on the onion farms for some reason when I get an ugly banner It'll refuse to change despite me refreshing the page multiple times.
Plus it would be nice to flip through all the posts sponsored atm.
i wish my profile was more customizable, i like how i can make my Kiwifarms theme the "revolutionary red" and the red font, matches with the red in my banner pic, and the Chinese characters on the Kiwifarms logo works well with the rest of my profile, but other people dont see that
