To my knowledge it started as a joke in an anime, this teacher had a picture of his wife with him and said 'mai waifu' in Engrish. Lonely people on imageboards must've started calling the fictional girls they jerk off to waifus, from there they just ramped up the cringe over the decades as society became shameless (e.g. from having "dates" with their waifus to treating vtubers as waifus).
Deviancy is one of the many consequences of gay marriage, you can't avoid the slippery slope into pedophilia if you treat homos as anything other than mentally ill sex addicts (men) or mentally ill misandrists (women) in need of a beating. Shame needs to make a comeback

The appearance of her hands is probably due to iron-deficiency anemia (caused by anorexia and vegetarianism). She has to take prescription iron. It also doesn't look like she uses moisturizer. She said that she was going to get a pedicure before posting feet pictures, so the sore on her foot is likely from where the pedicurist scraped off her toe callus. She didn't wait for it to heal before taking those pictures, and she didn't bother to edit it out.

Hope she is getting taken for a ride with something like a var at prime + 2 for 30 years. Probably has no intent to pay anything down. No idea how UK mortgages work but in the US if you try to do zero down you are forced to buy mortgage insurance (separate from home insurance) which is basically money you light on fire and pay to an insurance company since you do not have any equity in the home and won't for the first 10 years.

MiP is basically a bank saying "here's how much we can give you and at these rates for this period of time". It isn't a binding agreement, but it gives you an idea of how much you're gonna get at the time. Assuming she's a first time buyer and had the sense to save money with a decent income on top (I have no idea how much "virtually jerking off nonces" gets you, nor how you even report that income for tax/mortgage purposes, does anyone even have an estimate of her income?) her rate should be pretty solid I think. First time buyers are given a lot of leeway if they don't look like mongs because it's a big stat the government loves to jerk off.
Even first time buyers in Bongland have to put down a downpayment, it can be as low as ~4% (but you get subject to mortgage insurance) but generally people are advised to save to 20%, even bankers tell you this.

Getting a mortgage is a lot easier than most people think. The real challenge comes down the line, especially if repairs are needed or income takes a hit from some sort of controversy.

Thankfully, Shondo is completely uncontroversial and not at all prone to detonating her career during a meltdown.
