That is what I am seeing too. The masses of centrist and apolitical normies that were taken for a ride on Fentanyl Floyd hysteria just don't seem to be there this time. Sure reddit is astroturfed to shit and so are some of the usual suspects in mainstream media but there is no vigils or sudden outbursts of support like Fentanyl Floyd got.

I'm quite sure that every ideology that puts this much emphasis on optics at the expense of truth and virtue (justice and order in this case) is inherently illegitimate, which makes you the spiritual cuck of the normies whose dick you accept.

Having followed lefty discourse closely on this since Rennee's death I'm skeptical they would ever escalate to that, the threats of extralegal retribution against the Einsatzgruppen for their crimes are almost entirely performative.

They have watched the feds who they have been told and scream constantly have no power whatsoever to do anything at all arrest both alien's and citizens who interfere daily for close to three weeks now with barely any real pushback or success at stymieing their work. They're becoming increasingly aware that local Dems have zero power to help and that any proposed solution like calling in the guard or ordering MLPD to aid the protestors will fail, likely making the situation worse for them.

They say Rennee had the right to disregard orders and drive away and have had a change of heart about the 2nd amendment, but they've seen several people pulled from their vehicle without a fight and the one guy who brought a gun to the party get ventilated, and for the most part their still just standing around chanting and blowing whistles. I suspect that's why national attention to this whole thing has been surprisingly muted outside of the immediate aftermath of the three shootings we've seen. There's not really a positive way to portray the "resistance" when it's completely ineffectual.
