just as a captain obvious post; nobody should go to these things, regardless of what side you're on, or how much you try to fit in to the majority to avoid confrontation, just don't, way too high a chance of freaks, especially media koolaided/people just wanting a reason, just stay home and watch clips from wherever and vote/petition if you think stuff's fucked

Being pedantic .22lr has been used as a "less lethal" munition. Emphasis on less, with things like the American 180 being used by police and prison guards.

And iirc the IDF has been reported to use .22lr with modified 10/22 rifles for riots and crowd control in the West Bank.

But yes any round can end your life with good shot placement and bad luck, .22lr .25acp and the like. It may be less lethal than .50bmg or 5.56 but can easily punch your clock. :geek:

You're going in circles. There would be more dignity in just admitting you want to see your political opponents shot and don't care about the consequences as the anime pedophile did.
 
This whole situation is someone that gave into making rage based choices without thinking through his plan.
1) He chose the worst possible weapon here, a Pistol is a defensive weapon for emergency situations at close range. He got suckered into buying an expensive weapon that malfunctions and didn't think through it. Those optics are worthless as past 50 yards that firearm is not going to be accurate especially with someone untrained.
2) He started a fight with armed men that outnumbered him directly attacking them, already jumpy while carrying a weapon known to nd thinking that he can be the hero.
My concern is what happens when we have anti-ICE insurgents who aren't retarded.

Accurate. Online leftists have been attempting to ID ICE agents for several weeks now and in some instances have been successful. How much long do you think they’ll hold off on doing the same thing to any person present they perceive to be on their side?

Remember when the risk was that the glowies would track you down if the wrong person spotted you throwing a brick? Now it’s both sides, and one is directly funded by the government while the other is…also directly funded by the government, since most of those people don’t work. When the crazies are directing the flow of action, all the sane people can do is get out of the way and pray they’re on their way off a cliff.

I was strictly addressing the facts you put forward - that he apparently did not have his ID or the permit on his person. You cited that and said so, he was not "legally carrying." That is not really what "not legally carrying" means or implies, and I think you know that.

Can't really figure out your points above, but they seem different than what you said and implied before. They also seem more opinion-based or political than the prior statement, which was phrased in a way that suggested that his lack of id/ permit being on him changed something legally.

The main reason im against this is really it is terrible optics for the right wing and current administation. We still live in a democracy, which means public opnion is still one of the most important things to have on your side. Sure a majority of people on this board and online support the ICE operations. But this is Kiwifarms, we arent a part of the normie crowd. Normies absolutely hate/are scared of ICE nabbing people just like they were scared of the dindu riots in 2020. And as for "getting the job done" with illegals, if this admin was serious about it they would be going after the employers, but they wont because a shitload of those employers are on the right wing side of the camp who want cheap labor that wont unionize so they can keep living their lavish boomer lifestyle. And for everyone hoping that the right wing will make it to where its impossible for the left to take back power in the midterms or 2028, you guys are completely fucking retarded. Trump isnt the type to seize power, the majority of the american right wing are made up of people who wouldnt support such an action. Therefore, every effort should be made to guaruntee that the midterms dont strike too deep of a blow and that 2028 has a solid chance of a right winger winning the presidency again. Like I said in a prior post, to do that you must avoid scaring the normies at all costs, or it will be they who cheer when we're on the chopping block.
