I remember watching his videos when they showed up in the recommended but when he released the "Transphobia in GTA5" video I stopped watching, I also remember hearing that he was going homeless I felt bad at first then I found out why he went homeless.
 
I've always hated this guy's political sperging. Like, yes, sir, I understand you don't like Trump, conservatives, and so on, and that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion, but could you please focus on the video game you're supposedly covering?

There have even been times when he's had to give half-assed apologies to clarify that he wouldn't go into so many political spergs since everyone complained.

It'll be a disappointment without the edge that has always characterized the series, but it won't be a failure. It has no competition, and GTA Online alone is too big for GTA VI to fail.

So about the same thing ReviewTechUSA did before throwing away his decade-long channel to discuss politics?

So it's officially January 22nd in Sweden, and SWEGTA still hasn't uploaded his response yet. I'll give it time but the more he puts it off the more he makes himself look guilty. Meanwhile I have found videos about the situation. This video is from an anti-SWEGTA channel named DevDew claiming that he's scamming his fans due to his previous history and the fact he monetized the mod but is pretty low-quality. The Second video mainly starts at 1:03 about the drama.

In another video its been shown that fellow Rockstar Youtuber and speedrunner English Ben, who probably deserves a thread as well, has turned on SWEGTA over the drama by telling him that he shouldn't have created buzz over bully online and he shouldn't have monetized it, which is true but Eben was also promoting the mod until it got shut down.

2 months ago in November the same person also made a video about how he was a fan of Bully MP and how he wants Bully Online to fix the problems Bully MP has (He confuses Bully MP and Bully Online, just know he's referring to Bully Online when he says Bully MP), talks about how he doesn't like SWEGTA doing the Ko-fi stuff with Bully Online, they haven't specified about what happened with the money and shows him having to make people pay to watch progress videos on Bully Online.

Then there's this video from a friend of SWEGTA named W.K. Napalm, who is saying that its possible that a NDA has been issued against SWEGTA over this and that he interviewed him which is set to take place on the 24th, so i'll be on the lookout for that.

Ultimately the biggest take I got from this even before it got taken down is that monetizing the mod is what bit him in the ass, and its so coincidental that the day before he's set to make a response he gets robbed, almost as if he's trying to get away from giving an answer.

As if Rockstar wasn't going to go after them for doing that? Much like every other fucking mod of a big IP from a protective publisher(this happens a lot with Nintendo shit) the best way to release said mod is to keep quiet about it, finish it, and then release it into the wild so it can't be removed from the internet. Of course trying to monetize someone else's IP is going to result in getting a letter from a lawyer.

  • He hints that they can't continue development, but since everything is open source, someone else could.
  • He claims that refunds were offered to all Ko-Fi supporters.
  • He claims to have known from the beginning that the mod was going to be shut down, regardless of whether it was monetized or not.
  • He'll host a stream next Saturday at 11PM CET. This is for viewers to voice their opinions and/or complaints regarding this whole ordeal.

I have more questions than answers now.
So he knew the mod would be taken down, and still opened that Ko-Fi page before closing it after pushback?
