My pet theory is that Braden is used to being enabled by his parent(s) and they're back to enabling him (or at least one) since he's now successful enough in life. They might have kicked him out to teach him a lesson or make him try something new in a new place, or might have had a fight and miss him now. Dadicular might also have similar views or might be nodding along thinking his stubborn manchild is learning a lesson. The later is likely to happen if Braden is/was the type of person who can't be told no, he has to experience negative consequences himself to stop doing it/realize why he was told it was a bad idea, especially if the parent is only half tuned-in to parenting.

The main thing however is that we still know little about both his parents' worldviews and personalities, just what they do. So we can store this in the parent folder or a later date when we can put more parental puzzle piece together with context.

I don't think he is on good terms with his mom. But I could be wrong but I can't recall a time I've seen them talk recently.

I think his dad realized that Clav was too weird and obsessive to be normal, especially after getting kicked out of college. My bet is he is likely somewhat supportive of his antics because the streams are a way to monetize his strange way of living. He probably called Clav during the stream because he saw he was upset and wanted to make sure he was ok. Especially given his drug use he has good reason to be worried.

I don't think he even knows what he really wants but his brain is so fried with drugs and artificial hormones that he can't even express it, like a toddler that just doesn't have the vocabulary.
With anabolics being accepted and even praised in boys as young as 13 and parents being so uninvolved/enabling across the board, I'm expecting to see way more kids end up like him in a few years. The next hot medical epidemic experiment after trans kids. These things don't happen in a vacuum, it's almost always the parents and a predatory industry ruining these kids and then somehow being shocked they grow into ruined adults.
 
So we have:
  • A fat guy who may or may not be working on not being fat ( :optimistic:)
  • Someone genuinely disabled mentally (that's Clav's top donator too IIRC)
  • An older black guy who wears sunglasses indoors and spazes out, looks like he might have some kind of mental problem from it
  • A midwit who looks like he might be a guy who can coast off daddy's money

I cannot imagine what Braden is thinking when he wakes up. Does he need more drugs to hide the pain or has he already pushed it aside without it? Is he questioning his life choices or is he thinking about hiring male onlyfans models just so he can claim there are pretty people who follow his mentality with good results?
 
Serious question: are they actually true and honest Clav fans? Because I assumed at least some of them have to be trolls playing a camera feed of speds and pretending it’s their webcam.

Those image stills look like something a group home would post in local malls and libraries when they had a mass break out.

They look like an edgy 90’s Batman comic in a reality where all of Arkham asylum has Down’s syndrome.

They all look like the plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit where forever chemicals contaminated Dino shaped nuggets.

They’re unfortunate looking people is what I’m trying to say

It's the face of a child thinking he's a man and unfortunately getting rewarded by the world for it.

Best case Re his dad - dad recognizes he can't sway the little twirp since the kid is making money, so he's taking the "hands off but I don't hate you approach," saying , huh, $6k lesson, huh? Unfortunately, Clav is only sour about his lame party and the concept of wasting $6k, not feeling any material pain from it.

Less good case is dad is a fucking idiot, too, and is down to see whether his retarded son can really win.
