I didn't know having a glass of wine several times a week with him nearly a decade ago would turn him into an alcoholic and sheeeeiit.

In all fairness, part of me wishes for him to get better mainly for the fact that it could inspire others.

I'm disgusted because his political analysis used to be canny. Now he's just a clown producing (as Munster said above) slop.

He's not that special that I want to invest even part of an hour listening to him say the same four shopworn ideas about Trump, play AI songs, or laugh at his own grade school gross-out stories. I no longer want to buy any of his "literary" efforts. All that's left is to either hope he gets better or laugh at his self-degradation. And I have enough drunken fuckups in my own extended family for the latter.

I am disallowed to speak with her directly. Had to check state law to see if it was even legal for me to post here. But I have seen nothing but blatant slander to her here. She is a good mother, was a good wife, was always a good girlfriend, never once in creation did I ever witness her harm, neglect, or do anything but be doting to her children. I have respect for her. She cooks well, and has more talent in her finger than most of you have in your entire body. Some people seem to believe we are in some sort of bizarre internet civil war. They are the direct result of your problems. They are the history of your problems. These women will continue and grow larger in size the longer you don't address your problems.

The problem is YOU. Your alcoholism. What everyone believes is your untreated narcissism.

I would expect that most of these women would drop it if you finally solved your problems and be glad that you finally got some help.
