Of course Phil is lying. How do I know Phil is lying? He opens his mouth to speak. The only time Phil isn't lying is when he stuffs his face full of Doordash.

As far as mommy not buying din din for her "special little boy", I think with the rising cost of everything and Dave probably going "Fuck this, I want to fish and drink with my buddies and enjoy what time I have left, I'm going to enjoy my time with family and friends." I think they told Phil that they can no longer throw their 43 year old son cash behind the scenes and actually told him to learn to stand up on his own damn feet. The man is 43 years old and heavily relies on other retards to supplement his income, instead of, ya know....getting an actual job that isn't reliant on e-begging strangers on the internet. Yet, "It's not begging, it's business."

Yet, we're the mouth drooling morons.

Personally, I think it's either

a) He's fucking lying for pity tips and his mom is gonna buy him QVC slop like every year (most likely option given his pattern of behavior)
b) That week where he was gone was actually about his mom dying. I highly doubt Linda would give a shit about rising costs or whatever given that she's bailed out and pampered her special little boy on every single occasion. I can imagine his dad cutting him off completely once she's gone, though.
 
The only truth we ever got from Phil is when he's drunk, playing chrono Trigger and crying at the end of the game, realizing his life is fucked, realizing how good he had it as a kid and that he wish he could re-do it all, but his narcissism will never let him achieve this.

Pretty sure if Linda died there'd be an actual obituary and public funeral service. Dave doesn't seem like the type who'd say, "You're right Phil, we can't have a funeral service for your mom/my wife who just died because of the scary trolls."

Fair play. DSP was the same guy who was secretly dumped by his girlfriend and started e-dating another woman shortly after, who decided to keep a non-paying paederast in his chat, got married under the guise of visiting his dying parents, and lied for years about spending half a million on a mobile game despite insurmountable evidence proving he does ALL SO HIS TROLLS WON'T LAUGH AT HIM ON THE INTERNET.

But mayhaps I'm being too harsh, right? I guess I should believe he's married to a woman you never see (guys she's made slow cooker food! It's totes not DSP puting some shit in a crockpot while he streams) and that he isn't so wretched that he'd lie about the death of his own mother. I'll be vindicated penultimately.
