That'd be a great strategy if it weren't for the fact that literally everything the Left believes is false, and absolutely none of them are capable of defending their beliefs rationally. Their worldview is lies, and they support their worldview with power (the power to "cancel" - get you fired from your job, have your bank account closed, etc) not rational argument.

See, the "memetic energy" on the Right is ...openly stating truths. That's literally it. Here, I'll give an example: The Left invents a concept called "white fragility" - they create a huge corpus of authorship on the topic. At no point do they ever actually debate it. It's all a lie and it only survives by hiding from scrutiny.

The Right mocks the idea by pointing out a truth: blacks chimp out at the slightest provocation. They burn whole cities down. Seems like they're the ones who are actually fragile.



It's true! And that's it. That's the meme. Just ...something that's true. By contrast, Leftwing memes tend to be paragraphs of text, or empty slogans. Here's an example:



They made a rhyme out of a communist slogan. But there's nothing "true" there - it's a political opinion, not a truth. You see "abolish private property" and you think, "wtf? why??"

When you see the right-wing meme, you think "yeah, it's true, they do tend to chimp out."

The Right invented the meme: "The Left Can't Meme" - and hilariously, the Left stole it, saying "NO!!! NO!!! ACTUALLY ITS THE RIGHT THAT CANT MEME!!!" And then the Right mocks them with this meme:



And notice, this is true. They did steal it. That's why it's funny - it's funny because it's true.

The Left sets up a subreddit named, /r/therightcantmeme. But then they realize that the Rightwing memes they post there are getting laughs. CAN'T HAVE THAT!! THIS IS THE 'NO FUN' ZONE!! So they make a rule that when you post a meme to /r/therightcantmeme you have to draw a red X on it.

The Right mocks them for that. They post the meme, created by the right, mocking their dumb rule, with a title that makes it so clear how demoralized they are: "They are now even laughing about our rule"



You *can't* "co-opt this energy" when the energy is just the light of truth shining on your dumbfuck ideas!

A Leftwing meme is, "the Emperor's new clothes are glorious ...and anyone who says otherwise is a criminal!" A rightwing meme is, "lol, the Emperor is naked! I can see his dingdong!"

Here's what he says: "for a more malevolent example of something that spreads mimetically, look at racism. What he's describing here is called, Confirmation Bias. If you believe that something is true, then every time you see an example of it, it reinforces your belief that it's true. But when you see a counter-example, you might not remember that at all.

But here's the problem: there are (almost) no counter-examples. Let's look at a specific example - in the video below, a group of black kids sucker punch a random asian kid. There was no provocation (as if that would matter). They just saw him and attacked.



So, what should you do with this video? How should you factor it into your worldview? Your YouTuber friend would have you dismiss it. It's an anecdote. "Crime happens all the time - it's not about race" he would probably say.

My response is: you're going to go your entire life without seeing a single video where a group of asian teens sucker punch a random black kid that is just minding his own business. Meanwhile, there are mountains and mountains and mountains and FUCKING MOUNTAINS of examples of this behavior by black teens.

He says "confirmation bias." I call that gas lighting. The pattern I'm seeing is real. If you disagree, then I encourage you to start a thread titled "Asian American Appreciation" and post as many examples as you can find. Spoiler: there are few, if any.

The YouTuber goes on: "replace [the racist belief that black crime is caused by black people just being bad] with ... 'this is because basically every root problem in the United States stems from the root cause of slavery and the failure of reconstruction'"

So, it's not that black people are just more prone to criminality, he says. It's that, as you said:

Here we come to the point I made above: everything Leftists believe is false, and they can't defend any of it!

This YouTuber has never once in his entire life even attempted to defend that claim. He has never once even listened to someone challenge the claim. And it is super, super easy to challenge it!

Observation: black criminality is higher than white criminality. Let's call the white criminality level WC and the black criminality level BC. We observe that BC > WC.

Hypothesis: events that happened in the past, in the United States (slavery + reconstruction) cause BC > WC.

Test 1: if the hypothesis is true, then recent immigrant blacks should display WC. Do they? Uh...no. They display BC.

Hypothesis rejected? Ha! Of course not! The Leftist will simply move the goalposts. "Blacks who immigrate to the US are also affected by those events that happened in the past!"

Okay, no problem. Test 2: if the hypothesis is true, then blacks in other countries, who never visit the US, should display WC. Do they? Uh...no. They display BC.

Hypothesis rejected? Ha! Of course not! He'll make up some bullshit and cling to his pet theory.

Test 3: if the hypothesis is true, then every race other than blacks should display WC. Do they? Uh...no. Hispanics are higher, and asians are lower. Why does slavery and reconstruction make whites more violent than asians???

Test 4: if the hypothesis is true, then variations in criminality within the black population should have no correlation to any particular gene (i.e. all blacks are immersed in the same system; the system isn't singling out blacks with the MAOA gene because the system doesn't know that gene exists). Is that the case? Uh...no. We find that blacks with the MAOA gene are more criminal.

Test 5: if the hypothesis is true, then its effects should change over time. Blacks should have been really super violent right after slavery ended, and should be trending toward WC today. Is that true? lol, no.

There is just no good argument that black criminality is a result of slavery and/or reconstruction. The best argument is a difference in genes.
