It came from Barnes (and to a lesser extent, Viva).

To the best of knowledge, Nick never made that argument at any point prior to this. He's claimed to be a lot of things over the years that turned out to be false: Trad, based, redpilled, wholesome, Christian, monogamous, intelligent, a friend, a man, et cetera.

However this whole thing about him being this big threat to the state that they have to take out at all costs is entirely new. He's a mid-tier YouTuber (going on low end), that the state couldn't care less about but for the fact they got a credible report his kids were suffering neglect.
