If it involves their porn, furfags will typically put in at least enough effort to ensure they can art whore and suck the dick of anyone who does commissions. Sometimes to the detriment of everything else.

It's mostly just people not wanting to lose their established fanbase or friends by migrating to a new site that there's no guarantee they'll switch to. It's like myspace, most people didn't really leave until everyone else did because no one wants to make the first step.

FA will come crashing down when IMVU realizes furries don't care about the IMVU "chatroom" or it's ability to "make your furry" (actual copy they've used on ads). They acquired it after trying to buy advertising, and the moment they realize it's more trouble or more costly than it's worth I have a good feeling they'll pull the plug in some form or another, possibly merging it into IMVU itself.

Since the sale, the few times I have seen furries talking about playing IMVU was a group of them trolling on it.

They'll migrate to the other art sites that cater to furries unless they managed to have some website that is like FA in terms of users.

Currently the prime candidate is Weasyl, mostly since the only other real furfag-centric options are Inkbunny (which is just a leper camp for pedophiles and diaper shitters), and Sofurry which is just kinda there.

Either way it doesn't matter much, wherever furries go drama will no doubt follow. I guess that's just one of the perks of social retardation.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised. After all FA was technically their breeding grounds (so to speak). That said, I doubt we'd be seeing a complete extinction just yet. For all we know, they may just end up having to share with the creepers on InkBunny or plague deviantArt more than it already is.
