You know what, I (somewhat) agree with you on that point. The FTMs I know in real life are way more unhinged than the MTFs I know. Not a single one of them have had a decent childhood and only one don't have at least one mental disorder diagnosis (and the one who doesn't spends most of her free time at the psychologist trying to get one). One of them introduced themselves to me by telling me about her first sucide attempt.

The MTFs I know on the other hand are pretty chill and are at least trying to be functional members of society, while the FtMs are openly discussing how to scam the welfare system.

Women have been calling out troons for decades. There is no male equivalent of "Terf cunt" because it's not been men standing against the troon cult. The overwhelming majority of troons are male. Calm your tits.

I see it as the complete opposite, I'd say the FtMs are far more unhinged than the MtFs. I can actually understand why a man might troon out in the current gynocentric climate in the west, but going in the opposite direction is madness.
Men seem to troon out for one of three reasons, and I can see some merit in all of them no matter how much I disagree with them:

1. They're a gay guy that thinks they'll get 'straight' dick. Delusional plan, but not completely without merit

2. They do it for sexual high jinx, they have some kind of fetish (AGP, humiliation etc.) and want to live out their fetish 24/7. Degenerate and disgusting, but why wouldn't you if that's your thing given the current climate now allows for this kind of perversion and does nothing to stop it.

3. They're a beta male loser that wants to push the reset button on his life. Probably the one I'm most sympathetic to, a straight white male you're at the bottom of the heap in the social stack, western society is now actively hostile towards you, why wouldn't you troon out and rocket up the oppression matrix with the bonus of some female attention and sympathy you would otherwise be strictly denied.

FtMs on the other hand are completely insane, why on earth would you go from the most priviliged postion in western world, where the whole of society bends over backwards for your every whim and hysterical complaint, to the very bottom of the heap.
Not just a man but a manlet, or obese neckbeard as most of them end up, the hardest of hard modes. Of course society still sees them as woman, and still treats them with kid gloves, just look at this Ellen Paige business. If FtMs were treated like real men there would be 'de-transitioning' in droves.

FtM trooning is entirely the result of neurotic catastrophizing and this unending female attention seeking that can never be satiated.

It could be trauma, trend-following, mental illness/eating disorder, a yaoi fetish. Most people who make these decisions aren't thinking reasonably in the first place. It's like when outwardly normal or attractive men transition into pantomime parodies of women. It makes no sense, but their motivation i.e the fetish is just too strong. They don't care about normal relationships as much at that point.

For the same reasons Ellen Page is now a “queer man”. Words can’t have non-inclusive definitions. We are all playing a polite little game where we know FTMs are lesbians with extra steps, but we pretend we think they’re real men. The HER app is “inclusive”, ie, a free-for-all, and over time the ability to report “cis” males was taken away, but you can be a “straight” FTM. Who knows what features they’ll add or remove after this poll.

It’s very entertaining, at least.
 
Rate me autistic but i am rather relieved that Ellen/Elliott is not looking like a dude. Sure, this shows they are not taking T, but as far as masculinization go, nothing would happen besides acne, frogvoice, baldness and uterine cancer after a few years. They never wanted to be treated "the same as a 100% biological women". Think about it: are transactivists marching for the right of every single female to get permanent hair removal, breast implants and any bone shaving they want on the taxepayer's dime? No. Are they working to erase wiki pages talking about the crime of "biological women"? No. DO they erase mysoginistic subreddits? Noooo.
They want some privileges over women.

Contrary to 99% of the people here i don't subscribe to Blanchard's theory of AGP vs HSTS, but sometimes he is right, and he pointed out on twitter that trans people in general want to be something completly new. They have to be considered different when it's convenient to them, and not when it's inconvenient. The specific stuff they need to pass on the daily (hormones, surgeries) should be provided by Society, but not enforced (as we have many brands of Queer Nonbinary Fem individuals who want to keep their beards and balls, and tell us so on social media). Also, they should be considered particularly vulnerable like disabled people are, but not monitored or limited in their rights like retarded people are.

Society also need to act like it's a complete transformation, for exemple than the bodies and lived experiences of MTF are similar to women when it's time to get access to sensitive gendered spaces, coveted rewards (i think a nonbinary man got a "Woman of the year" award?) and women's sports.

So all freebies, all special treatments, no limits, gatekeeping, duties or responsabilities. A brand new category of people.

Ellen Page was a child actress, so the chances of her not being plied with drugs and diddled are about zero.

I assume the rest are something to do with teen girl social contagion, social media, weak parents, unstable identities, lack of any real beliefs or boundaries or (immediate) consequences for being a weirdo, the miserable and confusing nature of adolescence, and the pornification of teenagers' formative experiences. Take your pick, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet of mental illness.

Being a teenager in the 80's or 90's also sucked for the vast majority of humans, but at least nobody encouraged you to get your tits/dick cut off.
