And to think that Hayden Black and Julie Rei Goldsten both have the gall to not only try to downsell Maddie Blaustein's role as Meowth, one of the biggest characters in the long-running pokemon series, but is cynically trying to use her legacy to sell Generation Zed, AKA Gen Zed, which may or may not be a scam.

What kills me is that there are probably some good people working on this project. The end result might be mediocre, but there's still people who did put in some work (animators, other VAs...), most likely without pay, and all their efforts are ruined by those two arseholes dicking around on social media.
The show could've been just another crappy animated thing, but it's Julie and Hayden's antics that turned it into a complete trainwreck.

I don't think they'll ever make a lot of dough when their shit has such low production values.
It doesn't even have the charm of some indie low-budget stuff, it just looks like they half-arsed the whole thing so they could make some quick cash.

You're right that it won't stop them from whining about mean evil gamaergaters/MRAs/channers torpedoing their show but I doubt anyone'll listen. Except for that one article in the Mary Sue, no major SJW has ever paid them any attention. Talk about a flop.
