Peak liberal feminism is complaining about period products not being "inclusive" enough in their packaging and shilling for products that are. Radical feminism is complaining that there are girls and women in the world who can't afford or even access period products, and that we should be providing more humanitarian support for them.

We received a lot of constructive criticism to our post „What does trans actually mean?“. We would like to thank you for it.
We are very pleased to gave a community that engages with us and corrects us if necessary.
This is why it‘s important to us to share the „Learnings“ of the last few days with you.
Old sources by cis people
We have been criticized for using outdated sources, that have been compiled by people who are not trans* themselves. We deeply regret that.
Going forward, we would like to be more conscious of including the respective community voices. Especially if it‘s about self-identification.
Inter* does not mean trans*
In our post we assigned inter*sexuality to the umbrella term trans*“. That is false.
Inter*sexual people can be cis, trans* or simply inter*.
Differences between sexuality and sexual identity
We have been made aware several times that our definition is too vague and simplified. With that post we primarily sought to reinforce the fact that trans identity does not correspond with a person‘s sexuality.
Trans* people do not owe society a sexual orientation and being trans* does not imply anything about a person‘s sexuality. It can be fluid over people‘s lifespan - no matter if cis or trans* - and can occasionally be impacted by a trans identity or transition.
We would also like to stress that the trans* community is no homogenic group. There are trans* people who are comfortable with labels that are unacceptable to others. The best you can do is ask what you can do and unfortunately we neglected to ask.
Additionally we would like to be open about our editing team being exclusively cis at the moment. We do not wish to appropriate a discourse that does not affect us via our educational work. This is a conflict and a continuing process which we constantly work on - part of that is admitting our mistakes as an editorial office.

1. Talking is not something that happens often. Most bathrooms are disgusting and women want to get in and get out as fast as possible. Also, just like it's awkward for men to talk while they're doing their business, it's also awkward for women.
2. If talking does happen in the bathroom, it's never long, and it's usually only with friends, not strangers. And even then, it's nothing special. It's always something along the lines of "That food was so good, but I think I ate too much" etc.
Sometimes women will talk while they fix their hair or re-apply makeup, but again, this happens fast and any idle chit chat is just that, chit chat. Most women would be really weirded out if someone tried to have a legitimate conversation in a bathroom, especially where strangers could hear.
