I'm very confused about the VAs for Huey, Cameron, and Betsy. At first, I assumed that they were most likely going by the "A paycheck is a paycheck" mentality. But with Julie admiting that she's not getting paid for this, it made me wonder about the rest. If Hayden is too cheap to pay his STAR OF THE FIRST EVER TRUE AND HONEST TRANS LEAD ROLE, then there's no doubt in my mind that he isn't paying the other three as well. So why did they agree to do this? Someone a few pages back said that they don't seem to be invested in the show all that much (if their Twitters are any indication) in the way that Julie is. Are they really just doing this because they think it would look good on their resumes? And given that Betsy's VA husband used to write for Rick & Morty, an animated show that is actually funny and successful, it makes me wonder if he has or had connections to put her in something better. Obviously, I don't really know how the industry works but still.

Also say what you will about the rest of the cast, but a lot of them seemed to be in legitimate stuff before doing…this. Did Hayden managed not to pay them too? I can't imagine any professional actor doing any gig for free, especially one so shitty.

2 minutes and they fail to:

  • Mention games at all, despite it apparently being a main focus of the show.
  • Tell us anything about the main character's personality
  • Tell us anything about most of the cast's personalities(save Huey)
  • Introduce Quilliam, despite him showing up in the show even before Betsy, one of the four roommates.
  • Explain why they decide to move in together.
Most movie and tv show trailers can accomplish all that and more in 2 minutes easily.

And Hayden, please learn how to properly cite a Wikipedia entry. Just saying "The Guardian" isn't good enough.

Of course, you have to write it like that to make it look like you're far more awesome than you actually are.

At the very least, you should suggest it be rewritten by a competent person who can check out and cite all the facts presented.

Or you can request deletion due to lack of notability, cause nobody really cares besides Black.

Unfortunately, this and this make it unable to be BLPPRODded, and probably support notability. I could probably argue for deletion on the grounds of "nuke and start over", though.

I am definitely not an expert on Wikipedia policies, but this sounds interesting:

Given the entire thing is written as a promo piece, maybe you could ask for it to be deleted for violationg Wiki's ban on promotion/advertising?

Or maybe ask an admin to look into possible sockpuppeting, considering the evidence posted upthread (accounts that were exclusively made to edit this page).

We've already established that he doesn't know what a trailer is supposed to showcase (if the angry white male already comes off as more interesting than the character you're trying to put on a pedestal, you're doing it wrong). Now we know that he's deluded enough to try and call his meager hate following (and the occasional politically correct nod) "a very large amount of positive interest". Will agree that an admin should be asked to look into possible sockpuppeting.

Should someone point out that there are such things as mutations and things like this are the exception and not the rule?

This is kinda like pointing to a person who thought he was straight and ended up becoming gay and using it as some sort of argument that all people are secretly bisexual.
