Side note: I did set some time aside to do my take on Sonic.exe. Ended up making him British instead.

Kept things simple - aimed for a Joker-esque edit because that's who JC's little self-insert demon sue reminds me of if the Joker was an unlikeable douchebag. Got rid of most of the whiskers, extended the smile, gave him British teeth and added contrast at the back to make his face pop out a little more.

Also, J.C.'s ex-girlfriend Shannon did similar stuff to Cow in 2013. She was dating JC, so she was probably groomed by her ex-boyfriend into thinking that those things were OK.

JC is a disgusting person, considering how vulnerable Shannon was at the time (she was born in 1984, currently 37, so she was 29 in 2013) and he groomed her into thinking it was okay to engage in cyber sex with minors.

Is there actually proof Shannon was groomed into thinking it's okay to cyber sex minors? You know the saying, birds of a feather flock together, and I don't think we should absolve her of guilt. Also, being 29 isn't vulnerable in my opinion? That's a grown adult.

I know... What Shannon did was very grave. I thought she was 100% innocent until I saw this. I'm not sure who to trust anymore. Even when she was groomed and didn't have the best mental health, it's still not an excuse to do what she did. I'm not going to absolve her of guilt.

I understand, I'm not trying to accuse you of absolving her. Just curious, that's all. Again, I'll ask, is there actually proof of Shannon being groomed? I don't believe that you can get groomed at 29, unless JC had been prepping her for years and years to behave like this towards minors. I believe she could be influenced, but grooming is a very specific term and generally implies underage victims, power imbalance, stuff like that.
If I'm missing anything obvious, forgive me, I haven't fully caught up with the thread, I only found out about this situation this morning :heart-empty:

"Influenced" is a better word, so thanks. Again, her mental health was not the best when she began to date JC, and the latter was emotionally manipulative. But I'm not absolving her of anything. She's currently seeking a therapist and is trying to move on, unlike with JC. This is getting really complicated. Shannon is now the owner of Sonic.exe... But I'm not sure if I should trust her.

EDIT - AUGUST 31, 2021 - FalseCow contacted Shannon about the situation. I'm shocked right now. Shannon and JC began to date in 2013, but she did a sexually suggestive RP with FalseCow BEFORE that! I guess I was wrong about JC grooming Shannon.

The real question is why do they still want to use JC's yiffy "X" design after all Joe made his own design(s) for X and besides people prefer the original recolor design anyways.

I think it's out of "respect" for the original story? Dunno why they'd want to when Joe basically has free reign over what X looks like now, but teenagers and kids tend to be hostile when someone redesigns someone else's characters nowadays so maybe that's why.

That last point is interesting because again most fans of Sonic.exe don't know about "X" and his design nor do they even know about the remake/round 2 in the first place, they care more for the shitty fan games rather than the shitty stories is what I'm saying.

Now I know JC build up a small fanbase of older degenerate furries who read/played Sonic.exe in the past and it is true that autistic people don't like change but even that isn't a good reason to keep the weird Sonic.exe redesign JC made because that portion of the fanbase is so tight and just keeps to itself.
(Plus they tend to like other Sonic.exe designs which can include the PC Port design)

It's all just really weird and very gay if I'm going to be honest.
 
Why not just let this Sonic.exe thing die? It's not creative, it was made by a pedo with no redeeming qualities whatsoever, there's no reason to keep it around besides "nostalgia" but even then that's a dumb reason. Throw it in the fire, I say.

Because kids and teens really, really, REALLY like creepypastas. They think being into it makes them edgy and brave and of course a lot of those kids also really like Sonic. It's most likely never going to go away at this point.

I don't remember the channel, it was long ago and JC-The-Hyena's YT channel was deleted, but I KNOW he liked it and was an avid follower
