Swagginz' response is to a superchat from a guy asking if Phil could accommodate people that work by streaming at other times. Phil worms his way around it, looks all around the room while trying to think of excuses to not do anything to leave his comfort zone, and moves on. Swagginz knows Phil is full of shit and yet mods for him. It would be sad if these people didn't already know that Phil was scum.

Swagginz has been burned more than everyone else in DSP's streams nowadays, but I don't feel bad for him because he chooses to stick around for the attention. He already ran off, realized he has zero notoriety outside of the Goutosphere, so he came back.
If being a DSP mod is how he wants to make himself feel like a "somebody", he's welcome to the consequences of it. And I don't mean the ones that any detractor could give him.

That's exactly why he got popular to begin with.
Because he pushed out videos for the new games before others did.
Sure they were low effort raw videos, but still people watched them because he had big chunks of the game out there.
However times changed and Phil just kept doing the same shit over and over.
His idea of "growth" comes from leeching off of the quality/hype of a game, because at the end of the day he has no other entertainment value.
Phil isn't edgy anymore, and he doesn't have charismatic partners like John or Howard to float his videos.
Phil is a dinosaur of youtube and he just needs to give it up, the time of growth from "new games" is past, now people expect quality and entertainment.

He's a lazy dipshit. If he really needed to put out some content that day he could have filmed the unboxing without sound and then added music and text in post. But no, he slapped his fat greasy thumb on record and filmed a rant about a fire alarm as a fire alarm goes off, and never unboxes the item.

Ironically the haters and trolls are a third of his audience. Folks who just want to see the Goutistic shitshow and want to laugh are another third.
Phil would barely have an audience without “tractors”.
If he was a bit smarter and didn’t have such massive ego, Phil would use this to make money and get views.

i've even heard him say "publishers aim for the Christmas season cause everyone is at home playing games!", wrong dave, they aim for Christmas cause consumers increase their spending and there's also another half of the planet who aren't sitting in snow, so that take is such a shit take
publishers also want time for big releases to get max exposure for the end of the tax year, so that time of the year makes the most sense financially
