The link to their schedule posted on Twitter is broken and leads to an empty Google Calendar. So Vinny's segment soon is going to be the last one? If so they're fucked, they're not hitting that 300k this year. It's only 88k so far.
This wouldn't even be so bad if it wasn't for the fact a lot of the things they showed as merch that people got excited for can't even be purchased from the shop, which is completely going to throw off the thing they usually did with "oh donations are X amount, but combined with Y amount from merch we have...".
I've got to be honest, though. Been following their charity streams since the first one and this one may be the most lackluster out of all of them so far. It's like... none of them are actually motivated/came up with something good this time around? And the new guys they brought on don't have the personality to keep a live stream from getting boring.

Edit: Vinny talking about how he's been feeling and sounding younger ever since he switched to his new format, says he doesn't regret a thing and loves it. Here we go.

Thank god Gear cut off Alpharad when he went over his allotted time slot. Forget the fact that Shesez' segment was Fred-tier levels of snooze, Alpha straight up pulled ideas out of his ass for his entire block of the stream and was a total time waster all around.

I have my doubts that Vinny alone will break last year's donation amount in the span of 3 hours, though. Not to mention that the charity stream got announced a lot later than usual this year for the obvious reasons, but the best he can do is knock it out of the park and get his groove back with having a live chat talking to him again.

Honestly all they'd have to do to hit 300k+ next year is have Joel & Vinny do a collab. Who are they kidding? Barely anyone cares about the other streamers.

2 days of Joel & Vinny doing co-op stuff, Sims, or slots with bad fighting games/corrupting bad fighting games > 30 streams of Fred doing... whatever.

so we got stooged, fucking gnorts is taking over vinnys alien game segment

Haven't been here in a long ass while. Not focusing on dumb internet drama/'celebs' really does wonders, huh? Hope you guys are doing alright, though.
I bet the event hosters are betting on Vinny's big dick energy to bring in the big bucks. He always does, maybe we'll see a miracle happening and we'll reach that $300k goal. This is Vinny's "grand return to streaming" after all.
Honestly, who cares about a charity goal. The fact they're making ~91k in three days for pediatric cancer research is amazing enough.

Wouldn't work, Vinny doesn't like Joel and Joel feels awkward being around him. They lost all of the chemistry they used to have.

It's just a way of measuring their popularity and viewerbase year to year as well as the overall quality of the event. The fact that they're making money for research is cool, but I'm also very interested in seeing if there's any year over year growth.

watching vinny stream and rank in all the donations is just making me think of gpm seething about his failed attempt at canceling the poor bastard right now

They just did a coop fairly recently (pre-cancellation timeline) and they were the same as ever. I think they did spelunky and the switch boardgame thing.

I kind of hope this charity live stream will get Vinny into streaming again. I'm not getting my hopes up too high though. :optimistic:
Vinny said he will start streaming again but just not as regularly as before.

They definitely raked in more $$$ last year because of Vinny and Joel playing together, but as aforementioned, they don't really talk. A lot of people in Vinesauce didn't like Joel in the old times anyway, so I think their relationship now is purely professional unfortunately.
