Maybe he meant to give her an update or something? Like "yeah he's still acting sick" otherwise it wouldn't make any sense if she didn't know Jasper's condition considering he's already said they both noticed he was missing during breakfast or something.
Either way he could have just texted her throughout the day, he's been on his phone many times on stream before.

I'm assuming he had a break today and during it he couldn't look up emergency vets nearby? Kat can't do the same shit that takes less than 45 seconds? Can she not drive him to the vet? They could be taking him right now to the 24/7 ones and be done with it.

Eh, who cares. Literally every single time he's actually reached the Hat Goal, OIC was funding 80% of it anyway. If he thinks he'll actually incentivize new viewers into donating this way he's out of his mind.
