What a faggot, I'm pretty sure he'd be the first to say "the game awards don't matter!!!" no one remembers who beat who. Why is still bringing it up?
I actually had to check last year's VGA to remind myself who won the Player's Choice award, which is what Phil cared about because the rest were in-industry awards where the people working in the games industry just jack themselves off (he's not really wrong there, things like the Oscars are the same shit but for movies).

So who won Player's Choice? Ghost of Tsushima. His side won and he's still spiraling, moping and coping about TLOU2. The "beat the haters" thing was how Niel Druckmann tried to rile up people to vote for TLOU2, with how Phil worded the tweet you'd think TLOU2 won the players choice award because of it. It didn't. Is he the only person in history whose side won at something and still kept seething about the losers years later?

When Phil has an unassailable position (or one he thinks as such) he will continue to fire from it until someone drops a mortar on his ass, which rarely happens since Phil isn’t worth the proverbial munitions. He knows TLoU2 is a highly divisive game and that many people think all the awards it received were undeserved, and that GoT was a critical and popular underdog darling and so he gets to act like he’s on the right side of history against the dangerhairs and progressives who championed Sad Bastard World 2 which I guess is technically correct but as others have said already, the only person who cares is Phil.

I bet he was thrilled when that DLC was announced because he knew he’d have appropriate context to bring this shit up all over again.

Whats the point of kat buying games that he plays on stream? Can he write it off as business expense if its not him who buys it? Or did he just admit cheating with his tax?

"its business related, but i dont own it. My wife does."
she lives like a stranger in that house.
she has her "office"
she has her "console"
she has her "gaymes"
why the fuck doesn't he have a completely synced console in the living room with his "business" console.
someone will jump in and tell me that they have "his" and "hers" copies of games.
phil's a retard and he spends money like a nigger.
"ay yo, let's buy these gold chains for teh neck, before we collect our foodstamps"
"why yes, we have two consoles in the house, we have two internet lines, we sleep in two beds, we sleep in two bedrooms, we dine in two rooms, we shit in two shitters"

he used khet to buy him games during the bankruptcy saga when he was pretending to be poor

we all kinda forgot, but it was great watching him switch from "I own the rights!", to casually remembering his wife had to buy him a $60 game even though he supposedly had $5,000 in business expenses

I can only imagine, at the time, he wanted to keep his transactions to a bare minimum to not screw with the carefully fabricated fake expenses

It's just like when everyone was dumping on ProJared, Phil finally had an opportunity to not be the guy being told to STFU and GTFO, and was all over it. And that same irrelevance can be blamed for this, too, because if someone way higher on the ladder carpet-bombed him for acting like he had any business talking shit, he would fucking stop in a heartbeat.

Why else do you think he hasn't attacked Total Biscuit for dunking on him years ago? He's way too scared of the backlash for shitting on a dead guy, especially THAT one. He knows how much Bain was his complete opposite, in terms of respect and relevance. He could be an asshole, especially towards the end, but he never had a rep like Phil's. The pigroach would probably love nothing more than to get away with throwing shade at such a person, he has a lot to be jealous of with TB, but the ghost would haunt him big time, and he knows it.

Wish he would get that scared of clout-chasing Max Dood, that shit is especially obnoxious and pathetic. Max has more incentive than perhaps anyone on the planet to keep as far away from The Guy, being such a figure in the FGC, but not for god-like prowess like Justin Wong. His brand is 100% built on likability, and while Phil doesn't really threaten that now, the more he's seen talking at Max, the more people might wonder why The Guy is being allowed to do that with someone like Max. Assuming anyone ever notices, that is.

I can't believe this big faggot actually put "beat the haters" unironically in a twitter post. This guy is just unbelievable sometimes. You can take a day break from Phil and come back seeing him in a dictator styled hat, for example. That's what makes him the biggest lolcow (imo of course)

It's self explanatory really. "play the game with no thoughts"

Also, presented without comment. Listen up to 2:18

It's just some fuckery going on again. Phil isn't poor or struggling so there is no need for Katherine to be buying, donating, renting or lending his business games. Just like with his bankruptcy, this wording is just part of some scam he currently has going on.
Same with these "behind the scene donations" that happen so often now. Oddly after every fundraiser, and his benefactors always want to remain anonymous.

With Phil it's all part of some scam, it's all part of a con, it's all a grift and it's all bollocks.

Since then, Jared has returned to regular uploads, has a loyal fanbase, and whilst I don't follow him closely enough to know for sure, seemingly free of any drama. Phil on the other hand has become ever more isolated, deranged and entirely reliant on an ever-smaller pod to save him from ruin.

As someone who posited the question in the comments, would it be out of the question that Kat is essentially Phil's full-time caregiver? Really, he seems to display next-to-no affection for her (apart from thumbs and the defensiveness that is really just a shield against his own stupidity), and all she seems to do is work and cook. All the talk of them going on a honeymoon seems to be all for nothing, since Phil can't be arsed to do anything that pries him away from his schedule. That, and the obvious "mom" slips.

According to Phil, an hour is not enough for any gameplay. Now, he's going to stream himself installing a game for an hour.

$150, please.

Edit: And now he's begging hard. Fuck off.
Boot up almost any fighting game on earth, round last 99 seconds or less. Former pro fighting game player doesn't think of that. If he couldn't find a match, he could learn another character in training mode like he always says he has no time to do.

Let’s get real folks.

Phils pigroach luck might mean hell never get the fate he deserves: Snorting in a soupline for the homeless.
I actually think Phil has exactly the fate he deserves. Cosmic gun to my head, if I had to choose between living like Phil or being homeless, well, guess I'm having soup tonight. Not trying to downplay being homeless, but there's at least a chance of rebuilding your life and making something of yourself. Having to live as Phil, assuming we don't get to retain our intelligence and take on his mindset in this hypothetical switch, is pretty hopeless. You'd pretty much be limited to a few brief moments of enjoyment each day when you shovel late night door dash into your mouth and throw hundreds of dollars at some mobile app. And even in both those situations, it seems like a pretty twisted pleasure. Phil looks like he's in pain whenever he's eating, and he's gone on rants about how stupid and predatory mobile games are.

But the rest of his life is spent miserably brooding over all the people that live rent free in his mind. Hell, sometimes it isn't even people and just general concepts. Your only social interaction is with chat, which is so bleak it doesn't deserve any other explanation. There's also the odd comments to Khet, but that's barely a step up from his chat. Hell, at least with his chat, you could argue there are one or two people who actually seem to care about Phil, it'd be hard to make the some argument with his mom, I mean, his wife.

Could his life be worse? Absolutely, but I think it would take something fairly extreme at this point because his general existence is already pretty damn bleak and depressing. Yeah, he might not be homeless, but look at the cost he had to/continues to pay to avoid that.

From what I understand Jared handled it like a proper chad: he put out one single video saying “what’s been said about me is bullshit” then proceeded to lawyer the fuck up, shut his mouth about it and act like nothing at all was out of the ordinary while whatever attack dog in a three-piece suit he retained went to work for him. I don’t know how this lesson got lost along the way for 99% of the people in the public eye who get the same shit levied against them, but the only thing insane people who make sex pest claims respond to is a calm declaration that you will allow the court to handle things and that’s it. Literally any other move you can make is the wrong one.

I’m not claiming Jared is free from wrongdoing, just that the other side banks on the accused to spend the next year defending themselves on social media and wearing themselves out and making themselves into a larger and larger enemy which is very bad optics when you are a semi-successful public figure and your accuser is a poor widdle nobody. Don’t play the game. That’s how you win.

Anyway on topic Phil is fucking lucky no one has brought any such accusation against him (probably because who in their right mind would let him get close enough to molest them) because he would bungle it every step of the way until some dangerhair clipped him with a bike lock while he was at the Fred Meyer.

If Phil becomes homeless, I think in the end it would only be good for him. Suddenly he gets a completely new view of his life, on possessions, money and, above all, how he ended up in that situation to begin with.

Sadly that will never happen as apparently too many people are emotionally and financially invested in making a human being (technically, I suppose) dance to their faggot tunes.

There's a few possibilities:
1. Like you said, Kat is basically more of a mother figure at this point and the relationship reflects that
2. It's possible it's some kink that he's into (I fucking hope not, I don't wanna know that shit)
3. He calls Kat "mom" because of Jasper; Some "pet parents" call each other mother and father to the pet
4. Same as number 3 except there's actually a kid (very rainbows as Phil probably can't even get it up)
5. He has Kat AND his mother living with him

Take your pick, either way, that shit is weird.

Has anyone brought up the possibility that maybe he moved his mom/parents in with him or maybe they're visiting frequently or something? I seriously don't understand how he keeps saying his mom made dinner if he really means kat. Maybe once is understandable but he does it all the time, its like his mom really is the one cooking.

Also recently he seems more worried about who is outside in his driveway and what time "kat" is going in and out of his house. Almost like kat isn't the only one coming into his house.

Its likely this is just phil seeing his wife as a mom figure in his head but I wouldn't put it past phil to move his real mom in to cook and clean for him and do his laundry. Just throwing this theory out there to try to give phil some credit that maybe he isn't actually calling his wife his mom. I dont understand how he would keep making this mistake otherwise.

Edit- ninja'd, see #5 in the previous post, guess I wasnt the only one to think of this..

Judging by his rant at the beginning of his "debunking" stream, I would say Phil doesn't even really care about Jared being in a better position than him today. Hid mind was, and is, far more occupied by that little taste of freedom from being The Guy. Phil may lack in the drive to really EARN that freedom, but you can bet everything you hold dear that if God saw fit to grant him a door to walk through and be cleansed, he bolt for it like you've never seen him move before.

And yes, Jared did indeed handle that 100% the opposite of the way Phil would, which the pigroach has no awareness of. As Howard said, Phil can't do damage control. He only knows how to make it worse.
That, and the obvious "mom" slips.
Given his also very obvious spoiled and self-centered nature, I wonder if his outlook on Katherine, and Leanna before her, really does 100% mirror how he felt about his own mother while still living in her house. Meaning, "mom" for him means "caregiver", not what it means to somebody who actually gives a shit about other human beings. Remember, he spent way more years with his mom than he has with any other woman in his life, and she did all the same things he expects out of his live-in soulmaids. And everything and everyone revolves around Phil, in his mind. Including Linda Burnell.

She was never an authority figure to him, or someone he respected. He just pretended to because he's a pussy and a liar. No one, not even her, is exempt from having a role in his life that serves only him and requires nothing from him, or earns anything resembling attachment. That's why Kat is "mom", because Linda was "mom", and there must always be one. Doesn't matter who it is, it's the role that matters to him.
Could his life be worse? Absolutely, but I think it would take something fairly extreme at this point because his general existence is already pretty damn bleak and depressing. Yeah, he might not be homeless, but look at the cost he had to/continues to pay to avoid that.
His life is worse than being homeless, because it's stressful to lie so much. It's aging him, you can see it. On top of that, because he's running from the biggest reality check of his life, it's only going to be more devastating when he finally gets it. He won't learn from it, there's nothing that can teach him to stop wanting to get away with being a stupid lazy asshole forever, he'll just cry a lot and point the finger at others because he's too much of a pussy to admit that he did everything incorrect.
