Actually wonder why Dave hasn't done a dentistry begathon.

Like he could say he needed money for a crown or root canal, which he probably actually needs but for this we'll assume its a scam, to get the following benefits:

1. $2000~4000 goal isn't unreasonable depending on his dental insurance
2. Can take a random day off of streaming for the procedure, NOTHING I COULD DO THE DENTISTS MADE THE SCHEDULE
3. Get pitybux afterwards
4. Undetectable to anyone on stream if he actually did it, "DOOD I'M NOT GONNA SHOW YOU MY MOUTH SO STOP ASKING"

Only reason I can think he wouldn't do it would be it would be him lowkey admitting he has terrible teeth and Dave is incapable of admitting there's any fault in his glorious body. Seen clearly in the fact that he thinks he's still muscular cause he was a "bodybuilder" in high school, which even if it were true(it's not) wouldn't negate the years of flab that have come from sitting on his ass.

I don't even see why he does that anymore. He streams on youtube, isn't it like one button to just post his entire stream as a single video? Would probably get more subs if it was just two videos a day as opposed to ten.

A reminder that it took years to force Phil into moving to direct capture because he wanted to continue aiming a camera at his TV screen out of sheer laziness and entitlement.

That's the problem with his streaming career, he wants a steady neutral, and you can't do that. Not forever. If you plead poverty, your audience expects to see you doing marathons, getting things that ACTUALLY benefit the stream instead of just yourself, and NOT turning down endorsement deals. When they see Phil's behavior instead, it of course exposes that it's all fake, because it's inconsistent with what people do who really do need that money.

Like I've said, Phil fucked it all up by talking about his finances to guilt-trip people instead of staying silent and doing work instead. The most he should've mentioned is, when asked about why so many marathons lately, that money could be better right now, and ONLY when prompted. He should never go into it himself, that's guilt-tripping and begging shit. Same with the tips goal, he should never talk about it, not unless it gets hit, and he should pretend to be surprised and elated no matter what. That's how you get the audience to not think about the money, which is good for you, because they spend more of it that way.

This same thing goes for his dress up game. "You want me to put that old vest on when the tips goal is hit? Really? Well, okay..." and then do it and never talk about it outside of when it's time to put on the vest. No hinting, no whining about the vest not getting brought out, none of that shit. It's all about being convincing. Let there be no doubt about the vest being the audience's thing by letting them be the only ones to ever talk about it, ever. Act like you don't get it, but you'll do it because whatever. Don't call it a streak, even if there is one, you don't want to draw attention to the money. Let thoughts of it remain out of the conversation.

The question now is, will the Third Reich hat join the sonic hat in banworld, or will Dave stick to his guns for once and continue to use it to spite us mentally ill trolls?

It's in the trash already. Guaranteed. For the record he said a fan sent him an Amazon Gift Card and made hat suggestions, he had final say and made the purchase. That was his very first explanation.

DSP’s content is literally just reaction content. He “plays” someone else’s art, and reacts to it. Only he does it for hours and hours at a time, while most reaction channels watch a trailer or a music video. For a long time, he even called it (hilariously incorrectly) “reactionary” commentary.

OF COURSE, Phil doesn’t see it that way. In his mind, he is creating art. His commentary is witty, informative, and it elevates the gameplay. Imagine having delusions like that…

The problem is that Phil's content objectively isn't worthy of earning anywhere near the amount of money phil wants. He had to introduce the begging and guilt tripping because no one would really give him money based on his gameplay streams only.

Now he's stuck in this situation where he always has to be in a financial emergency because his baseline income is all based on him being in a bad place financially and about to lose his house. If he ever comes out says he's making enough money now and is ok financially, the donations will drop drastically since people aren't trying to pull him out of the hole anymore.

I just don't understand how anyone believes his shit though, you can see how much money he makes everyday and total it up yourself.

It’d be a perfect fundraiser for DSP, full of the usual guilt tripping:

“I gotta be hahnest! As you know, I’m here on the streams with you guys every day, so I haven’t been able to keep up with mah dentist as much as I wahnted!”

Phil is just a jealous little bitch. "Oh no people are having fun and making money in way that doesn't involve me REEE." He absolutely hates the idea of anyone else making money, especially more than him. Also no one reacts to new smash bros characters or anything like that because they actually care about the game, no its just all for money. Everyone has to be 100% fueled by money all the time since that's how phil is.

Kind of like the fortnite rants- a grown adult sitting there complaining about children having fun with a video game. I dont even understand how someone could be upset at the idea of kids playing video games. What does it have to do with you at all?

Phil knows exactly how hypocritical he's being, and just doesn't care because he's lashing out at people who are way more successful than him at it. It isn't just the money, either, because those people don't have TIHYDP and The Incident haunting them forever. Phil's parents did such a shit job of raising him that he'll never live down the fact that things don't stay peachy forever, like he wants. The world wasn't supposed to go from giving him a taste of popularity to shining a bright spotlight on who he really is. His golden days were supposed to continue for life, no matter how much of a stupid lazy asshole he was. So now he looks at folks like Ninja and Max Dood and gets pissed that they don't have hate followings and he does, ignoring the fact that they didn't act like him.

Thing is, he actually does say that he's okay, except he does that when his back is against a wall, not when it's true. Phil doesn't mean to come across as someone who to save up to be poor, he means to come across that he's not poor but never wealthy enough that people should stop tipping at any time. That's the steady neutral I mentioned, that can't be maintained, because it's not normal. People's lives don't actually work that way, no streamer who makes decent money somehow still always NEEDS people to tip, every stream. It fluctuates, and they accept the fluctuation because they're not Phil.

That's why we know he's a greedy lying shit head. He's not living paycheck to paycheck, even says so, but he's spoiled and entitled that the fluctuation in tips is unacceptable to him. So he tries to have both the appearance of being fine, but also really needing those tips, constantly. Like I've said, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, and Phil is the asshole who will throw a tantrum if he doesn't get all three simply because there are three to possibly have.
