Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I'm not gonna pretend that Democrats will pretend to care enough to equate possible thousands of American deaths due to blatant incompetence to a "dude trust me" account about a phone call involving Trump.

But this actually warrants impeachment.

Holy fuck how? They all have big red "destroy" buttons on them. You just have to hold it down for a few seconds and it's an expensive paper weight. Leaving some M4s is bad but this is a whole other level.

The scary thing is that it's not even a new thing, this was just on a much larger scale. Remember that time a tactical kill team comprised of elite tier one operators couldn't pull their heads out of their asses enough to connect the dots of "hey, we have this big top secret helicopter part from a crash, tons of combustible fuel leaking everywhere, and enough grenades and other explosive munitions to hold off a paramilitary force"? Fun times.

Okay admittedly this was significantly worse since instead of "a few minutes" they had a timeline of literal decades to implement these procedures.
