I invite everyone to rewatch this clip, putting themselves in the shoes of someone who's never seen him before. Like it's seriously ridiculous. This gross looking old man dressed like a retard, treating the chat like they're his children and he's disciplining them for not taking him seriously. It's really, really funny. Never change, Phil. I can't even imagine what someone watching that for the first time would think other than surprise at such an odd shitty person.
 
I simultaneously love and hate this hat, cause it's just so wrong but it's quintessential Phil.
This is even better than the fedora we predicted. And the fact that he got so angry when people compared him to the obvious makes it so much better.

I’m not surprised in the least that he chose that hat. Phil has absolutely no knowledge of history. He saw that hat, and the only thing that crossed his mind was, “Wow, dood! M. Bison’s hat!” And, like he said during his rant, “Different people from history wore it…” Yes, Phil. You were right about that. But really no one in history that you want to resemble. He’s absolutely clueless and it couldn’t be more hilarious.
 
This is the year of “this can’t be real/holy fuck this is real” and I’m not sure how much more of that my psyche can take.
 
Phil wearing the Nazi hat is the best thing he's done in months, if not years. It just has so much potential, especially for someone talented with Photoshop or video editing
