Even if it's not, a fedora has been a meme for how long now?
Well I remember calling my best friend a tool for wearing one in like Sophomore year. So what 15+ years?
Must have been mentioned before but I like how many benefits of being a channel-member is

* Highlighted name in chat
* No slow-mo
* Extra emotes

For the cost of half a netflix subscription, great value!
Didnt LSB say you had to do like member only events once in awhile?

Also coincidently these people always want to remain anonymous and not receive credit for their gifts. We're supposed to believe these people sending phil expensive gifts don't even want some recognition from his little chat of retards for their contributions. Its always just Phil's word that someone else is buying this stuff, because luckily they all want to remain anonymous.
I found this dumb from the beginning. This argument would only work if there are fans who watch but never comment on his streams and believe his financial distress and are willing to spend money and are okay to give him private information to some extent like their e-mail and in some cases are okay with "researching" with Phil to buy the right thing and are okay to not be named publicly...omfg. Highly unlikely, especially when you consider that you can change your name on Youtube or just tell Phil to use a fake / autistic codename. "Phil, please say that Derich sent it to you 😉. So I will get my shoutout and know you mean me."

Phil, you shoutout every fucking tipper!!! Doesn't matter if they are shown on screen or not. (unless it's troll sometimes but you get the point) They can tip under random names! He already had a chargeback / codename scam on Twitch.

We are not talking about simple monetary transactions here. It's about products. People are more attached to a 10 $ t-shirt they bought than to a 10 $ bill they spent on it. It's because for you the shirt is more valuable than the money - you wouldn't have bought it otherwise (applies to every exchange or generally to every human action ever and forever in any form).

When you buy a present for someone, wouldn't you like them to know that it was you? Wouldn't you feel flattered when this person would tell others how much they like your present? Are you telling me that EVERYONE so far has told Phil: "Nah, it's okay if you'll never mention me - I am just a humble guy. It would be an honor to earn your trust so we can finally go forward, look for [a fucking Chinese gaming chair], write back and worth, wasting time, order it, send you the tracking information. Being your secret pig is all I need."

(Ignore my beautiful XFCE)
he fucked up.
"You told me to add more hats a month ago, and I did it"

he slips with every fucking fan dognation.
edit: I fucked up too and re-uploaded
