Does anyone know if you can enable god mode, in a game you already started?

Also, he told us that he had been looking up "builds" and when he started playing Hades he already knew about Darkness.

You're not fooling us Phil, you are just using guides to cheese your way to the finish line, and the fact that anyone would be "flabbergasted" at you being good at the same is hilarious.

You suck at every roguelike, so I am going to have to doubt this heavily.

EDIT: I see him beating it since he has the guides and people feeding him the most optimal stuff, but it just defeats the point of the game.

If you learn how to beat a rogue-like by reading guides online then you might as well not play it.

The point of these types of games is to learn through playing it and adapt, but Piggy for that, so instead we get a boastful boomer who somehow is "good at the game."
Are there difficulty settings he would've set to Beginner?

This reminds me of Last of Us when everyone was looking forward to that ending stealth sequence because he's notoriously shit at stealth and then he somehow just breezed right through it.
Great summary of his life, why work harder and have to learn when you could just CHEAT and get by.

As long as people don't know you did it they will praise you and you will feel pride in yourself.

The truth is you are just robbing yourself of personal growth and an actual meaningful existence when all of your achievements are off of the backs of others.

EDIT: just a mode that makes you take less damage each time you die. He could just turn the game on...off-stream and then enable it.

I said that even before he started playing. Remember that the people watching him can't let him fail at games because it means that detractors win. It's another twisted sense of "need" they have to make sure he can beat every single game he plays.

So they just write 10 paragraphs via email on how to play the game, builds, secrets, exploits, etc. Then, they tip, send superchats, messages, etc to make sure he understood the guides and instructions.

If you think this is insane, then just watch on how Swagginz stay an entire major stream (several hours) of Fallout New Vegas telling him step by step on how to proceed with the game.

Adding to it, but that's how Swagginz threw a hissy fit in 2019 because Phil is a fucking idiot, didn't read Swagginz explanation right, then decided to shit on him nonstop during the Resident Evil 2 Remake (the part was the last boss and Swagginz had been spoon-feeding him where to go, where items are, etc. the entire time). Also Papavera with his autistic in-depth minecraft guides

We can add 'flabbergasted' to the words he doesn't know the meaning of. He must think it means

Why would anyone be surprised that he reached Hades this soon after he has admitted multiple times that he has read guides and was sent behind-da-scenes tips on the cheesiest foolproof low IQ builds, not to mention the aggressive handholding by chat on every single goddamn stream?

I think just about anyone here could do pretty well at a game if they had no job to go to, no children to care for, an excess of liquid funds, the ability to ignore environmental and personal hygiene and could get 8-10 hours of (admittedly inebriated) sleep every night, a live on-demand tip line (double entendre intended) and was able to devote any amount of their waking time to researching or practicing.

There’s some famous quote about 100,000 hours spent on an activity makes one an expert that Phil’s entire existence blows out of the water because I’m not sure the man is better than a novice at breathing and sometimes he seems right on the cusp of having forgotten how to eat like a human being entirely.

My comment got lost to the rollback, but on Gamepass they have a downhill bmx biking game called “Descenders”, Nice Dutch techno music.

There are difficult, skillful things to master but you can also just fart around and enjoy the scenery. I’m surprised Phil hasn’t tried to milk it yet.
I recall “chill” Forza streams where he just rode around with no damage enabled, even the worst bikers can find some enjoyment in the different environments.

It can be enabled during a run, but he doesn't have it enabled. We'd know due to after dying, a message shows up on the screen indicating "Damage Resistance" has increased. Believe it starts at 20% and increases 2% after every death.

I listened to the stream in the background and at some point (I think it was when he encountered "Cure points") he said: "I won't touch these before I know what they do. I don't want to fuck up my run."

Like, what is the point of playing a game when you are afraid of trying out anything?

I often think of the video where he doesn't even know how to whisk eggs properly. How often does his toilet get clogged where he mastered that technique and it carried over onto food preparation?

I’m surprised because no matter you’re told something, actually doing it is never as simple. And DSP has boomer reactions on top of just not being good at shit.

I knew the handholding would give him an edge, but I still expected it to take like double this amount of time for him to actually do any of the shit effectively. So a combination of me underestimating DSP and overestimating the games difficulty have left me pretty surprised overall

Alottapeepul a few pages back were talking about how unfunny and unimaginative Phil's racist jokes are and I found a great one.

I'm enjoying Desperate Phil. His weirdo empire is on very shaky ground.
Uhhh what are you talking about? Streaming is literally the most stable job Phil could have.
I mean so what if he could only pull in half of the necessary funds for an emergency fundraiser?
And so what if Phil's solution to a slow day is to say "What can I do about that? Nothing."?
At a normal job you could get fired! I mean laid off!

Those are not racist jokes it's called racial observation comedy.
If you observe a lot of black people eating KFC and watermelon you can incorporate that into your routine. Something like "anyone knows what's up with black people and fried chicken? weird isn't it?" and it would be racial observation comedy.
According to Phil anywyas.
