I'm actually amazed that the first one can pass well. The second one is also very normal looking. Most of the trans-men that are posted here look like skinny ugly women with short hair. It's jarring to see a trans person that doesn't go out of their way to look like a genderless freak.

It's not about Sayori, it's just because it's an anime girl who's doing the Drake meme. The Sayori version just so happened to be the first anime girl version to get popular. It was used a lot on egg_irl and traa

Now the blue shirt one's history is funnier. Some FtMs wanted to use the meme format but felt uncomfy that it features a girl, so one of them redrew and recolored Sayori to have short hair and a blue shirt, as those clearly are defining masculine traits.

It's kind of fucked up that a woman can only show her breasts in public if she's had them mutilated. It's the same shit as Miles Mckenna. A part of me finds their pathetic attempts at being "men" hilarious, but another part of me feels terrible for them.

Men whose abs bulge out like that are built all around, with definition in their pecs and arms. These proportions are all wrong. No way Elliot bulked out those abs and nothing else without some kind of additive surgical intervention. Abdominal etching (liposuction) alone wouldn't cut it.

I'm having a hard time having sympathy for her, or any 'Detrans activists' who say that others people around them should've tried to warn and stop them from trooning out as if it's totally not their responsibility at all. If others did challenged them, they'd have been accused as unsupportive bigots at the time. There's no winning there.

What's more interesting to see isn't some random TIF detransitioning, but rather trans ideology finally fell apart, and so all trannies would be forcibly detransed because they won't pass anymore - due to overexposure.... I do wonder what they'll ended up thinking
(Passing relies on people not knowing about trannies existence. It worked decades ago, because they were very rare and not loud)

I think she does have a point when it comes to institutions like gender clinics or even the state pushing this propaganda. Family members and friends can‘t be expected to challenge this on their own. But the professionals (esp therapists) who let this happen or encourage it need to take responsibility. It‘s their job to help ppl deal with their delusions and distress, not commit mass trooning.

I have as much sympathy for her as I have for any other ex cult member. She made some bad decisions, she probably abused people who tried to protect her, but she was in a bad place and the cult took advantage of her. She's not innocent, but she's as much a victim of the gender cult as anyone else.
That's the nature of cults, they blur the line between victim and perpetrator and that's part of how they maintain their power over their members who might otherwise start to see the cracks. If we want to save people from the cult then it's counterproductive (though entirely understandable) to hold the low-ranking members accountable for the actions of the cult even if they are complicit.

But instead of getting help (as in therapists working with you through whatever teenage BS you’re going through), you get pumped full of troon propaganda and gender nonsense.

You probably don’t feel better, but you’re constantly told that you’re valid and brave.

And every time you take another step down the road to troondom, you get more asspats and validation.

Some Frankenstein doc offers you SRS, and everyone tells you it’ll solve all the problems and doubts you’ve been having.

Teenagers are hardly known for making great decisions. And you’re told that the sooner you do it, the better the results.

Nobody says: “This is a serious, mostly irreversible operation that can potentially ruin your life. Maybe you should take a few years to think about it?”

So yeah, I have sympathy for detransers. Just like I have sympathy for anyone who’s been the victim of a brainwashing cult that preys on vulnerable people.
