Getting surgery that doesn't physically save your life but rather alters the body is cosmetic, not life saving. Nobody thinks having gender dysphoria is a choice, but transitioning is a choice entirely by the sufferer . There are people with gender dysphoria who decide to not transition but instead find coping methods to help ease the symptoms that come with it. They see themselves as the sex they were born as. Those individuals generally chose not to because of various reasons such as costs, personal preferences, or health risks. Yet they're never mentioned by trans activists because it'd contradict their agenda. Maybe transitioning isn't the best "life saving" option for people who suffer from gender dysphoria as trans activists like us to believe.

We still don't understand a lot about gender dysphoria, which brings me to my next point. Why are "specialists" and large pro troon lobby NGO's putting vulnerable young people with a disorder shrouded by misconceptions onto drugs that are poorly studied and very dangerous? I believe it's due to a mix of big pharma pushing this trans ideology for money, well-intentioned but foolish allies and activists who think they're doing good, and AGP MtF's who hold a large amount of sway in the largest powerful LGBTQ+ corporations and lobbies like Stonewall.

Detransitioners and non-transitioned gender dysphorics are the biggest threat to the troon lobby. Why? Because they offer not only more than one view on how to deal with gender dysphoria so therapists and psychologists can understand it better, but different experiences of living with gender dysphoria and the ugly side of transitioning and surgery that may bring viable alternatives than having surgeries that end up damaging parts of the body to light. Many detransitioners and desisters like Keira Bell were young LGB teens when they transitioned as well so they can offer valuable pieces of advice to those struggling with same-sex attraction. TRA's are so desperate to silence them and sweep alarming rates of rising gender dysphoria and the risks of puberty blockers under the carpet because they know they're speaking the truth and people are beginning to realise these loonies aren't on "the right side of history" or "oppressed" when big companies like Twitter and Facebook silence any dissenting voices from speaking out on social media platforms, public spaces, and universities. Those who bang on about being oppressed and how bad they have it really aren't that bad off. They know how to use it to use their victomhood status to media advantage and nonr have been more successful than troons and their corporate backing.

I Hate this whole ass "'we have to spend years for life saving treatment". It's cosmetic at best and just flat out mutilation at worst.

Y: The Last Man is mainly a road trip adventure as they try to uncover what caused all the Y chromosomes to die and also protect the last two Y chromosomes (the named man and also a monkey that survives) from the people who find out about it and thus want it/want to eliminate it/etc. It tries to show a society where women have to step in and replace all the men. Lesbianism is touched on as more than just reproduction but ideas like comfort, relationships, a need for forms of stability, etc. The trans man in the comic was just a throwaway "look, I acknowledged they exist!" But they weren't really key to the plot or anything, it sounds like the show is playing that up more because it's 2021 and you have to. They'd have to throw away everything about the plot if you could just "I'm a woman now!" and survive it. Of course, the troons want denial about the Y chromosome having (or not having) anything on it that the others don't.
