EDIT: I know he has done this for a while now, but it still amazes me how much he disrespects his viewer's money.
 
I know the “10 year plan” has been memoryhole’d, but do you think Phil has any expectations of how long he can actually keep this up? I have a hard time believing he’ll be doing the same thing he’s going right now ten years from now. By his own admission, he’s “struggling daily” just to “””pay his bills”””, how does he expect to keep this up for another couple years when it’s only been setback after setback?

This is all stuff Phil would write off as trolling, but I really do wonder what’s gonna happen to that guy when he actually can’t stream anymore, and wonder if he has even tried to think that far ahead. I’d wager he just assumes he’ll be able to steam until he’s on his deathbed.

He is planning on his surviving parent to die and leave him millions of dollars which they likely do not have and which he will somehow not burn his way through as he will be able to magically curtail his horrible spending habits all at once.

Do your jobs offer a 401k? Get on it. Do you have a savings? Start a Roth IRA. I know it’s boring. Important stuff usually is. It is not going to get cheaper to be old and sick in the West.

Well considering he will never be able to get a job due to his gross incompetence and ego, he will have no choice but to continue streaming forever. OIC will be the only paypiggie who keeps showing up to pay him as literally everyone else will eventually run out of money ala timboslice. He is basically banking on his parents leaving him enough money to live the rest of his life despite the fact he will spend it all on mobile games within 2 months tops.

He'll have to get to him first. So far he got utterly destroyed by the hydra. Plus the minotaur will definitely kick his ass the first time if he gets a boss room and is unlucky enough to run in to Asterius alone. Not to mention that most mobs in Elysium are pretty annoying, especially those butterfly balls...
 
After making it through the Lou Gagliardi thread, I've gotten a lot more chill about DSP getting his gambling money. Lou's like a Level 30 Grifter. Despite him being orders of magnitude more obvious a scam artist, he still gets the money. DSP is only, like, a Level 10 Grifter. Because he's bad at games. But the point is it's going to be a long time before he scares away every person with the slightest ability to scrutinize his claims of being a broke streamer who makes over six figures a year.
