To be fair, the redemption narrative is basically the best he can make work at this point. The fake logs argument is provably false. And with how the SJWs are reacting he can't just ignore it.

But with a redemption narrative, he can even play off not referencing his cousin. He's taking the high road by leaving her out of it (while still hosting screenshots of comments OTHER PEOPLE are not leaving the poor little girl alone).

Edit: Is there any indication that Butts was promoting this "reformed" storyline in the past? Even former drug addicts preach and sing the praises of their saviors.

Worst thing is the other pedo-enablers like izzy and spacedad, probably helped him craft this defense. Like they actually know she did it and they don't care. Disgusting.

I'm not as sure about that. I feel like this is a departure from the line those guys were carrying about the logs being possibly false. I feel like this might be from higher up the aGG food chain.

Edit: I've noticed a few of the white knights already have me blocked. Only I ever really did much with twitter was harass Nick Bate. So either they blocked me for calling open pedos on their shit or they can smell the kiwi all over me before I even open my mouth.

The problem with the whole 'edgelord' defense is the amount of time that the logs cover. Pretty much everyone around the world goes through an edgelord stage of some description, it's just that some are more subtle at it than others. I personally have never met someone in their late teens who wasn't a brat. The thing is here, though, is that the vast majority of edgelords stop being edgelords. Not all of them of course, otherwise this website wouldn't exist. But the sheer length of time the logs cover, and the mind boggling amount of detail... yeah, no, the edgelord defense is not an effective one unless you're an SJW who's behind on the scoreboard and needs to do some sucking up to catch up.

Also, 'edgelord' doesn't explain why he distributed photographs of his cousin's crotch, or why he triumphantly detailed his relationship and physical contact with the child at every possible chance, or the forum avatar that's also the avatar of websites who advertise 'underage lolis', or, if memory serves correctly, boasted about how he'd succeeded in convincing underage forum members to discuss their masturbation habits with him.

Oh, and then there's the massive, massive tax rort, but hey, hundreds of thousands of dollars earned by stealing and selling other's property is, y'know, just a funny little hobby of his. But we all have our quirks, right? :tugboat:

I'm fairly certain it won't work on prosecuting attorney. Not a lawyer but I just don't see it being that convincing outside the twitter echosphere.
 
Getting lawyers and the police involved is the worst idea from Nyberg's side, as that will open up real world law to Internet drama. He can't sue Breitbart for libel, as they've already vetted it and lawyered up, and libel suits only work if they're not true.

At this point, since the "redemption" card seems pretty weak, he should just retreat from the Internet. Delete social media accounts, nuke all websites owned, and try to disappear from the web. The white knights move on, and people will eventually forget him. This might keep him out of (further) trouble, but Nyberg probably isn't going to go out that way.
 
You know, it's really hard for me to empathize with Sarah. Apparently I didn't go through the key, formative phase of adolescent development [that takes place in the early 20's] where you habitually joke about wanting to molest 8 year old family members.

Either that, or Sarah's diatribe is one of the lamest excuses I have ever heard.
