It just amuses me to no end that these defenders keep trying to make parallels that have nothing to do with one another. I suppose there's only so much you can do when defending a pedo.

Thank you, I knew things were moving in this direction, but I haven't been keeping up, so I did not know it was the standard already.

My earlier thought was that since the day women's rights surpassed men's rights, feminists haven't had anything real to campaign for. Of course, the gap has closed significantly since then. (IMO almost completely.)

Social Freedoms have equalized (and grown) between men and women. One example, the draft became inactive. Economic Freedoms have equalized (and in some ways shrunk) between men and women. One example, alimony law was expanded to subject women.

I hate this is now the standard for women too. It's doubling the amount of people who will potentially have their economic freedom permanently restricted (by whatever percent alimony the court dictates.) I'm typically for legal equality, but not this way.

Maybe as a result it won't be seen as a gender issue anymore, instead an issue in human rights, so people will be more willing to change it. I don't care; I still hate it. Anyway, I guess it'll be irrelevant when everyone stops getting married.
