Because he's a poser, a loser and has no friends. The only genuine friends he's had made a diss video about how shit he is at being a human being and a friend.
He gives himself all these labels - "movie buff", "gamer", "fighting game pro", "fan of {game}" in a desperate attempt to embed himself in any community whatsoever. This complements his autistic clout chasing on twitter, since his "viral" ProJared tweet gave him (what he sees as a) glimpse at relevancy, so much so that he made an entire video dedicated to "debunking" and "clearing his reputation".
Now, in reality, he has the most casual, regurgitated Twitter takes, he has pretty much below average knowledge of most of the communities he likes to label himself a part of - he knows nothing about movies, aside from the mainstream movies from the 80s and 90s, his knowledge of games is astonishingly average for someone who managed to be a full time gaymer since like 2010, he knows virtually nothing about PCs or tech, and has an incredible lack of general knowledge, trivia, geography etc (just look at his MS Flight Simulator gameplay).
DSP is the embodiment of Twitter - has the generic takes that get regurgitated every day on the app, looks for every chance to gravedance on someone who has been more successful, he is a cloutchaser, his discussions on Twitter are limited to "your stupid lol", "grow up kid". "I'm right and you're wrong because I said so and typed lol at the end", uses strawman arguments regularly, and tends to see groups of people as a singular hivemind.
He also labels himself so much to compensate for his lack of identity, both as a streamer and a person. He does nothing outside of streaming and watching TV, and hasn't for a very long time. He has no identity as a streamer, since he plays all kinds of different games, has no graphics package which grow his brand, has no brand recognition outside of his infamy as a dipshit asshole.
